There was NO need for that slap!!

After watching the slap on the show I feel really sad at the turn of events in the show. Like many have mentioned in other posts, Asads sadness/ anger/ frustration could have been shown in many other ways. The slap was uncalled for, and Asad had no right under any circumstances to lay a hand on Zoya. I don't think their relationship or the feeling behind it can be romanticized in any shape or form. But I guess that's what the PH are intending to do which is similar to ASR's continuous abuse of Khushi in IPKKND. Really low at the moment...didn't enjoy today's episode at all!!   

I agree with you completely. That slap was not needed. Zoya would have felt just as bad if asad just left again without saying anything to her. That slap was unnecessary and wrong.
