It's really bizarre. What freedom of speech is there in our country. Constitution seems to have no importance at all.

And the worst part is, there's nothing offensive towards Muslims in it.
Kick all the religious fanatics and politicians out of our country ASAP.!

Kamal Hassan should move to Singapore. Shahrukh to Pakistan and Jayalalita should just move to Texas where her size is the average size of ppl there.

The Censor Board has cleared the film. It's the fringe groups which are protesting against it and calling it offensive to Muslims and the state government has banned the film due to the protests of those fringe groups. Censor Board has no role in this controversy.

Yes I understood...So technically Censor Board has no relevance..isn't it. Its just a mockery of the institution. If anyone can challenge its decision.

Vote bank politics. Who cares about Censor Board? Those religion based associations need too be appeased by State government. Twisted logic but that's how it is in India.

LMFAO what an idiot, Yupp you. How about you start out by leaving America, and making it Indian free plus idiot free? Pseudo Indian - American (notice how the Indian will always come first and haunt you) going through an identity crisis.

Yea, you say "Indian Muslims" and make it seem like all Indian Muslims are part of it. Do some research before you write your honest opinions. Thanks for stereotyping all people into one category. JMHO.

Not just CB, but even court orders have no relevance right? The High Court lifts ban, and the next morning, police disrupts the screenings or watches as it happens and does nothing?? POlice...the folks actually responsible for MAINTAINING law and order. Clap

Then people throw in petrol bombs in the theater...what kind of democracy is India (Tamil Nadu Government specifically) where artists can't make films on what they wish and release it, even if they have support from the CB, courts without state governments saying  " screw everything, I'll just do my own thing"? Such cultural intolerance, such vendetta? We talk so much about India being a melting pot and secular and what not...such cases show that it's all just in name. There seems to be no such thing as proper freedom of speech anymore. ...and imagine, what kind of message do they send out. This is Kamal Hasan who's a BIG name so he can get support from other big names...but what are they gonna do to you and me if we just voice our opinions next time? Sleepy Kill us, jail us? Democracy indeed.
