Arjun Suryakant Raute is good-looking with a tough, no-nonsense exterior. He is a cop with brilliant analytical skills; Arjun would be a perfect police officer ' if not for his short temper and zero-tolerant attitude towards criminals, which often makes him cross the line, followed by his non-adherence to rules and violent reputation. The brutal murder of his wife right before his eyes changed him. Haunted by this Arjun now lives a reclusive, secretive, and enigmatic life. He is a true son of the soil.
Shaleen Malhotra (born 25 May 1985) is an Indian actor, who presently is seen playing the title role in 4 Lions Films criminal investigation television series Arjun .He was born and raised in New Delhi. He has been a contestant on Roadies 4 in 2003. In an interview. he mentioned that he loves reading autobiographies and draws inspiration from them. He loves to party like crazy and he has passion for bikes and has travelled all around the world on his bike. He is trained in martial arts and kickboxing. He is currently in Mumbai and miss Delhi a lot.He has been an on-ground VJ with MTV India for four years and elevated to on-air VJ in 2012. He appeared in Roadies 8 in the finale, where he had to replace ex-roadies. Furthermore, he hosted the auditions of MTV Roadies 9. He was seen in Adaalat as Jamal Ahmed, in episode 55, on 11th September, 2011. Then, he was supposed to play to role of Varun in Pavitra Rishta but he dropped out due to prior commitments with other projects. He began his acting career as lead with Arjun where he plays the role of ACP Arjun Suryakant Raute and is a special officer with the Emergency Task Force. Before taking up the role he attended an acting workshop and learnt martial arts.
