True but I still insist that it's the cumulative changes over time in populations that count than the gradual changes here and there. Individuals may inherit characteristics that preps them to survive better in their local environments but they only increase in frequency in a population over time. Which what we want to see anyway. We want to see women all the world as a unit exhibit, say, a more assertive behavior (just an example trait, I don't know if that's the most appropriate or desirable in this context)

Question is, can we drive our own evolution?

From what I understand, biotech, genetic engineering, gene therapy et cetera might provide the answer to that question. It looks like, in theory, it is possible.

let's see, but can we first have some answers? how soon are you planning on becoming a wife beater? how often do you intend to do it? do you have any prior experience? any training where you've learnt how to administer it properly? how motivated are you to do it? can you see yourself doing it five years from now and not get bored soon? and, by the way, whose wife are you talking about? TongueLOL
