Two veteran actors have been roped by Optimystix to add more punch to their already punchy crime based show, Crime Patrol (Sony Entertainment Television).

Yes, we are talking about Nitin Vakharia and Kenneth Desai.

Nitin, who has been a part of shows like Maniben.com and Baa Bahu Aur Baby - Season 2, will play the role of Anil Vyas in Crime Patrol.

"The story will revolve around the character of my elder brother, Jiten Vyas. Jiten is being played by Kenneth," said Nitin to Tellychakkar.com.

He further went on to state, "The story has Ahmedabad as the backdrop. As per the plot, Jiten will go missing and on police investigation, will be revealed as dead. I can't divulge any further, do watch the episode."

We also tried getting in touch with Kenneth Desai, but he remained unavailable. For reference, Kenneth is an industry veteran, and gained fame playing Aishwarya Rai's character's (Nandini) uncle in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

This episode will air on 1 and 2 February (2013).
