Race 2 Saturday Box Office Collection. Huge Jump.

Race 2 has collected around 19-20 crore nett all India on Saturday at the box office as per early estimates. Actuals are still to receive, hence final figure may vary. Race 2 showed huge jump of around 30-35% on average from Friday, despite having a big Opening Day. Race 2 got greatly benefitted from Republic Day Holiday on 26th January and it showed on the collections. Race 2 total collection after two days is around 34-35 crore nett.

Race 2 registered an occupancy of around 70% on average for the day which is really big, considering such wide release. Race 2 is now moving towards a big hit zone and definitely the first clean hit of 2013. Today being a Sunday, collections are again going to be huge. It is to be seen whether it can have occupancies in the same region as yesterday or not. It is excellent news for all the leading actors of Race 2 as it is moving towards their biggest hit till date.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 15 cr nett.

Saturday - 19-20 cr nett (Estimates).

Total - 34-35 cr nett.

RACE 2 is simply the worst movie of 2013 so far. ABBAS-MASTAN are indeed the crappiest directors now. The movie is all STYLE and no SUBSTANCE. And some of the scenes defy logic. The airplane scene was laughable. And John screaming gave me a migrane, although he is hot. Embarrassed

Saif Ali Khan looked bored and tried to hard, Deepika hardly had a role, Biphasa looked cute for a minute, Jacqueline looked like a man, and John doesn't know acting after 10 years in Bollywood. Anil and Cherry, the less said the better. And when they were in bed together on the beach, I wanted to throw up. Dead

YUCK! This movie is a mess, will crash after the opening weekend. I hope this movie doesn't make over 100 crore. First one was so much better because it had Akshaye Khanna. What happened to real actors like him?!!! Cry

This movie deserves a * rating seriously!!!!

Race 2 Has Growth On Republic Day Holiday

Race 2 showed a 25% jump in collections on Saturday due to the Republic Day holiday. The film collected around 18 crore nett on Saturday taking the two day collection to a little over 32 crore nett

The growth on Saturday was very strong in places like Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Mysore but less in circuits like Rajasthan, CI and Bihar. The film will show a drop today (Sunday) as the case after a big holiday but it should cross 45 crore nett for the weekend.

The weekend business is set to be good with the holiday giving the filman extra boost of 3-4 crore nett while the weekday business of the film likely to tell where the film is going.

Race 2 Sunday Collection Update. Another Huge Day.

Race 2 is just have rocking time at the box office. Race 2 Sunday Box Office Collection is also going to be huge despite there is a Cricket Match between India and England going on. Race 2 Sunday Morning Shows are little slow compared to Saturday. But from Noon collections are on par with Sunday. Even the advance booking report for the day is excellent and on par with yesterday.

Race 2 has registered around 60% occupancy on Sunday till the Noon Time. Occupancy is better than Friday, but little below Sunday. Race 2 has already collected around 35+ crore nett in its first two days and its opening weekend is certain to touch 50 crore nett mark. This is extremely good news for all associated with the films. Even better news for Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jacueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel as it will there biggest hit till date, if all goes well in long run. Although film has received mixed reviews from critics, audiences are finding it entertaining and thronging to theaters in big numbers. And yes those who are asking, Race 2 has every chance of touching 100 crore nett and be the first film to do so in 2013. It is too early to make any box office predictions for Sunday collections, but still 15-16+ crore nett is a bare minimum for the day.
