The episode starts with Aarti hanging a family picture in the room and telling the kids they should not feel sad as now the entire family is there with them. While looking at the picture she asks SP and Gayatri to forgive them for whatever mistakes they may have made and ask them to rejoin the family soon. The kids also join in by saying that they miss everyone too and as Aarti is about to kiss Palak they make her into a statue. They then try to get her to move by saying a joke but this doesn't work. Yash comes in the same time and sees her in her frozen position so he asks the kids what is taking place and joins in. He speaks funny and Aarti laughs so he thinks they have won but the kids tell him that she needs to move so he starts making funny faces but she still doesn't budge. He then tells them that this is really a hard task so they tell him to leave it as it is too difficult for him and the run off leaving him alone with her. He then tells her that she has really made this a difficult task for him and he starts coming closer to her as if he is about to kiss her. When he feels he is close enough he blows her hair and in anticipation of the feel of his breath on her neck she moves her shoulders. He starts celebrating whilst she insists that he cheated only for him to tell her that everything is fair in love. He goes towards her to hug her the same time the kids come in and freeze them. They stand laughing at the awkward position their parents are in while Yash and Aarti through their eyes and a subtle nod decide to team up on them by chasing after them.
The next day while at school, Ansh gets hurt so his teacher calls home to inform them. SP answers the call and when he hears about Ansh he remembers Bua's words where Aarti will only be punished if her husband and kids are taken away from her. In the background he also hears Ansh crying out for his father asking him to come soon as the wound is paining badly. SP then tells the teacher that Ansh is not a part of their family and disconnects the call leaving the teacher confused. She then calls the Dubeys where Prashant takes the call. When he is finished Shobha asks about the caller only for him to lie, saying that one of his friends called him to meet him. He then goes straight to the school and when he sees Ansh, he extends his hand for their customary handshake. Ansh does not take his hand saying that his mom will get angry as she does not like him. Prashant then reminds Ansh of the past where he helped them get to a hospital, proving that he was a good man and so Ansh hesitatingly takes his hand for the customary handshake. He then enquires about his wound and tells him that they will go have fun roaming around. Ansh refuses saying that he will do these things with his dad, rubbing some salt in Prashant's wounds and causing him to be mean by trying to poison Ansh's mind saying that Yash's meeting was more important to him and so that is why he came to get him as Yash doesn't really care about him as he didn't come to pick him up. Prashant then tells Ansh that he came as nothing is more important to him than his son (Ohh how ironic lol). He then goes to the car and come back with a present and chocolates for Ansh. They leave soon after with Prashant lifting Ansh and placing him in the front seat of the car.
Yash and Aarti are out shopping when a young boy comes up to them with a balloon asking them to purchase one as he hasn't had anything to eat for the day and is hungry. Yash and Aarti look at each other seeing his condition and Yash tells him to come with him. He buys all the balloons and gives the the boy money and one of the balloons. The boy tells him he doesn't have any change so Yash tells him to keep it and go get himself something to eat. The boy thanks him and runs off while Yash remarks to Aarti that he wishes that all kids would have a happy, fun loving childhood. He even says their parents' love, food and education are the most important things to a child and Aarti agrees with him but tells him that not everyone is fortunate enough to be blessed with it and so this is her only complaint to God. On seeing that child Aarti was probably taken back to her past where she too probably faced similar trials. While they are talking, Prashant drives by with Ansh by their backs are to the road so they don't notice.
Yash and Aarti return home the same time Palak and Payal arrive from school. Aarti asks for Ansh and Palak tells her that Ansh got hurt so he came home earlier. Aarti goes in search of him while Yash comes to ask more questions on Ansh's accident. He is about to give the girls the balloons to take upstairs when Aarti comes to him running saying that Ansh is not at home. Yash then calls the school where the teacher told him that Ansh's guardian, Prashant Dubey collected him. Yash then asks why he was not contacted so the teacher tells him that she did call home but the person that answered said the Ansh was not related to them. As soon as he gets off the phone a worried Aarti starts questioning him and finds out the Prashant took Ansh from school.
Prashant and Ansh are then showing walking in a park with Ansh having ice cream. Prashant then tries to gauge Ansh't opinion of his relationship with his mother by telling him that his mother loved him very much and they were best friends. Ansh stops him by disagreeing saying that his mother only loves his Yash papa while Prashant tries to control his seething.
Back at the Scindia's Yash comes of the phone and tells Aarti that he contacted Shobha who stated that Prashant left to meet his friend three hours ago and did not return as yet. Aarti realises that he lied to his parents and God knows where he took Ansh. Yash then reassures her saying that both of them will find him together showing the contrast between the first kidnapping incident and this one as Yash wanted to go alone the first time but here he is asking her to go with him. He tells her to let them leave but she stops him asking what will happen to Palak and Payal showing just how much their relationship too has changed. Before he can answer though, Palak responds telling her to go ahead as they will be good and not get into any mischief. As they are about to go in the car, Yash sees SP heading inside and stops him saying that he never though he would punish his son for his mistake and because of his response they cannot find Ansh. SP then tells him that now he knows what it feels like when your own goes away from you. He then further states that Ansh is not even Yash's real son yet he yearns for him so much whilst he being their son gave up his family for this woman without even thinking how hurt they will be, how their reputation will be affected and what his mother is going through as he is away from her. He then walks off leaving them in the driveway.
