The stand-up comedians of Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe were joined by the lead cast of Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma. The movie is slated for release this month.

The episode opened with a performance to the title track of the movie by Bijlee (Anushka) and Matru (Imran) along with Bharti Singh.

According to an eyewitness, Bharti left no stone unturned to woo Matru and gave tough competition to Bijlee. The comedienne later got into the character of Bijlee and played Cupid for a rather unusual bride and groom - a Hara Oonth and a Gulabi Bhains. The animals have a significant role in the movie.

Another talented jodi - Sudesh Lahiri and Krushna Abhishek - had everyone in splits with their act. Siddharth Jadhav posed as Imran, much to the amusement of the real Imran. Kapil played matchmaker for a heroine and a rich man.

Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe airs tonight at 10 on Sony Entertainment Television.
