There has been never any doubt about Sanaya's professionalism.
He has always wanted to leave after a year. LM has made that quite clear. He was obviously asked not to reveal his intentions.
They knew that Barun wanted to leave. They could have manged the show very well if they really wanted to.
A new character could have been introduced (in the form of a friend) in advance while Barun was still around so the viewers get used to him.
It is obvious that the statement about the long break was forced on Barun by SP who wanted him to stay back until November for the SPL event. There was a lot of money at stake and that's pretty much what they care about.
PH announces that the story has run its course and asks viewers for ideas
During Diwali it is announced that Barun is leaving the show on 23rd November
News comes out on Nov 24th that the plan is to kill him off and have a new love interest for Khushi
You just have to imagine the state of mind of an average viewer when all this comes together in two weeks time.
Not everyone is emotionally equipped to handle shock, disappointment, despair in a positive way.
Everyone was with the show for 1.5 years and bonding with Arnav and Khushi was very deep.
There was bound to be conundrum.
Yes, Sanaya and LM wanted to continue with the show. But I cannot believe that PH wanted to. The story has been deteriorating since March and the only beautiful thing was the Arshi re-marriage and the only reason it was beautiful was because of the two actors enacting it.
Even LM was not happy as early as November because of the story line.
When it is so obvious that the PH was not interested in IPK how do we know who started these conspiracy theories?
Everyone on the show knew what was going on. Only we the viewers were kept in the dark till the end. I don't know about "conspiracy theories" but I do believe there was a conspiracy.
You are again putting forth many theories and what may or may it have happened behind scenes. I believe there were no conspiracies at play. Its pointless to hold onto these at this point when they have repeatedly been proven false.
No one forced anyone to do anything. They are all adults, capable of making their own decisions.
