So if we believe God created Nature and then you say homosexuality is natural so you imply that its something religion condones.

 

 

I'm sorry I don't believe in creation and I do believe in evolution. I will debate nature only from the point of scientific fact. To deviate from such a factual basis would be absurd.

I'm willing to debate religion as well. But as a separate entity - a social human construct. And I would debate religious views on homosexuality from a social anthropological perspective.

I believe the people of Lut and their destruction are mentioned in Surah 7, 11 and 53. Now where in the text to you understand that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for homosexuality? In fact there is no explicit mention of homosexuality in the Quran.

There is also no authentic hadith account on Prophet Mohammed punishing homosexuals. There is debate on the hadith and seerah accounts that claim Mohammed punished homosexuals.

Going by the Sodom and Gomorrah, the people of the town ask Lot to send out the angels so they can rape them. Lot offers his daughters instead.

When I read the story I find that it is not homosexuality by the act of 'rape' and 'abuse' that is condemnable. I actually find that one would offer his own daughters up for 'rape' also morally reprehensible.
