Chapter 2B: Meri mission ab humaare mission!

Aisha: [brushing it off aside] accha chaai ko chodo…. [looks at them enquiringly] tum dono ek serious baat bathaavo…yeh Sikandar aur Arjun sir ke beech ka lafda kya hai??

Shree nearly faints shocked and scared hearing that…" uss naam ko yahaan bolna bhi matth….Arjun sir sunenge toh qayamat aa jaayegi….aapke saath humaare bhi band bajaa denge"

Aisha: chill dude…..woh yahaan nahi hai…isiliye pooch rahi hoom……aaraam se bathaavo…

A strong loud angry voice thundered from behind

"TUM SIKANDAR KE BAARE MEIN KYA JAAN NA CHAHTHI HO?"

All turned around to face a visibly angry Rathod…..Before anyone could voice out something, he continued "Aisha, mere cabin mein aavo"

He stormed into his cabin and Aisha followed suit closely……

Rathod standing with his hands on his hips and with a stern face "ab bathao kya jaan na chahthi thi? Aur Rawte ke saath tumaara barthaav bhi kuch ajeeb hai…."

Aisha: kuch khaas nahi sir..bas aise hi….[he snaps her short]

Rathod: Aisha, hum balhe hi thodi din se saath kaam kar rahe hai par tumaare baare mein itna tho jaantha hoom ke tum yunhi hawaa mein theer chodne waali nahi ho……so stop pretending and out with it….

Aisha: sir, mujhe bohat afsos hai ke main isske baare mein zyaadha kuch aapke saath nahi share kar sakthi….haan itna zaroor kahungi ke mere mission yeh allow nahi kartha…..

Rathod:[was very furious now] mission??? Kaisa mission??? Ab tum ETF ka hissaa ho aur main ETF ka chief……so protocol ke isaab se tumaara harr mission ka khabar rakhna mera kaam hai!

Aisha: iss keliye aapko commissioner sir se baat karni padegi…..I cant let the cat out……

Rathod: well, in that case, let me pull it out for u….[he dials the commissioner's number] Sir, mujhe Aisha ke mission ke baare mein sab kuch jaan na hai……sir plzz….yeh jaane behair main usse apne team mein continue karne nahi doonga…….[listens to him and then adds] hmm ek min phone speaker mein dhaal raha hoom……

Commissioner speaks up: Aisha, Sameer ko bathaa dho….you have my consent for that….

Aisha: [nodding at the phone and then at Rathod] yes sir….

Commissioner: Rathod, Aisha tumhe sab kuch bathaa degi….par dhyan rahe ke yeh sab confidential baatein hai aur apne team se bhi abhi kuch matth kehna and that includes Arjun too….hum jaldi isske baare mein in person baat karenge….

Rathod: [sternly] ok sir……

Aisha starts off "sir, aap ko pathaa hi hai ke main ek undercover mission mein thi….uss mission ka ultimate target Sikandar tha! aur shaayad main uss tak paunch bhi jaathi magar…."

Rathod: haan jaantha hoom, humaare wajeh se tumaara mission halfway through stop hogaya…..yeh baatein hum bhi jaanthe hai…..

Aisha: meri ghussa aapko dikh raha hai sir par yeh nahi dekh rahe ho ke Sikandar tak paunchna itna aasaan nahi hai….police records mein usske naam ke alaava aur koyi information nahi hai…..usse zyaadha log pehchaanthae bhi nahi…………[pauses for a minute]

India mein hi nahi balkhe asia ke sab se badaa drug mafia aur human trafficking ka king hai ho…..phir bhi ek level ke aage kisiko, I mean usska gang ke members ko bhi Sikandar kaun hai, kahaan hai, yeh nahi pathaa…maine aaatt maheenae un logon ke beech reh kar unke vishwas jeethi thi….aur ek dho level hi tha jissko paar karke Sikandar tak paunch jaathi…..usi khoshish pe paani giraaya hai aapke team ne aur khaas kar aapke second in command ne!

Rathod: woh sab beethi baatein hai….usse dauraane se kya faydha….haan miscommunication hui hai aur hum sab ko bohat bura bhi lag raha hai……par isske aage kya……humein usske baare mein sochna chahiye!

Aisha: wahi hum soch rahe hai Sir…..meri mission ab bhi jaari hai…..kuch bhi karke mujhe uss duniya mein waapas jaana hi hai aur uss adhoori mission ko complete karni hai……haare hui baazi ko jeethna hi hai…….

Rathod: [shocked] tum paagal toh nahi ho??? ab jab sabko tumaare baare mein patha hai, kaise karogi yeh sab?? Its too risky to try it again Aisha….it will never be fool proof like your first one….

Aisha: [confidently] mujhe apne aap par poora vishwas hai sir!

Rathod:[smiling at her confidence and doesn't want to demotivate a team member and so nods at her] hmmm…..ETF bhi ab tumaare saath hai….

[Somebody was viewing this bit through the glass partition…"Aisha aur Rathod aisa kya serious baatein discuss kar rahe hai??" he was anxious to know it….something like an alarm rang in his mind that it was something he needed to know for sure…..but what? He wondered before walking into his room….]

A minute later, the chai waala knocked at the cabin…Rathod voiced out "come in"

The chai waala entered with the tea for Aisha "madam aapki chai….Arjun saab ne bejaa hai!"

Aisha grinned and thought to herself "aakhir mr akdu mere baat maan hi li, great!"

Rathod was amused at that and told to himself "Rawte ne Aisha keliye chaai order kiya…..thats interesting! Mere team mein kuch ajeeb baatein bhi hone lagaa hai!"

Aisha took the tea in her hands and dismissed the chai wala from there and spoke up "Arjun sir kitna khayaal rakhthe hai apne team members ka….unnone mere liye chaai bejaa!"

She finished that line with a naughty smile……

Rathod didn't know what to reply but spoke up in a broken sentence "haan Rawte kabhi kabhi team ke liye yeh sab kartha hi rehtha hai…..khaas karke jab usse kuch point prove karna ho…" [he thought about the bhoot case in his mind where Arjun had mixed the drug in Chotu's coffee and smirked to himself "ab yahaan Aisha pe kya try kar rahe ho Rawte??"]

Aisha didn't get that last bit about proving the point "matlab? Kaisa point??"

Rathod: [grinning] kuch nahi….agar kuch hai toh tumhe jaldi hi pathaa chal jayega….

Aisha smiled and took leave from him……..With the glass in her hand, she walked to Arjun's cabin!
