YOU ARE MY HEARTBEAT(2):PG.155 NOTE

jeevika - "Viren can you please take Zaaine from me? I need to go shower"

viren - "Yeah, just give me two minutes"

Jeevika had to get ready fast today as she had to go for her end of the year practicals. After this she would finally have some time to herself and her family, most importantly Zaaine. For the past two weeks since the birth of Zaaine, Viren was the one taking care of him the majority of the time. He barely slept 5 hours a day as he also wanted to motivate Jeevika to do well on her practical. After this practical Jeevika would have the next three months off. She decided not to join the summer research program as she now had her son to take care of and plus Viren's bar exam was in two months and he needed to study at least 10 hours a day. He was already two weeks behind because of the birth, so Jeevika and Viren both made sacrifices for their families.

viren - "Did you feed him already?"

jeevika - "Yup, can you just burp him. I need to run to the hospital right now"

viren - "Yeah, don't worry. And good luck, I know you'll be fine. Don't freak out before the exam and don't worry about Zaaine"

jeevika - "Thank you Viren" she said giving him a kiss on his cheek.

jeevika - "Bye Zaaine, I'll see you tonight my baby"

Jeevika left for the hospital. She was really exhausted as she had been up two nights straight taking care of Zaaine and studying. She reached the hospital and went to the locker room and waited for Zoya.

zoya - "Hey jeevs, ready for the practical?"

jeevika - "Don't know about that, but I'm totally ready to get some sleep"

zoya - "I know, hows Zaaine doing?"

jeevika - "He's fine. Growing a little bit now, but he's still so small. I really just want to finish this off and go home to Viren and Zaaine"

zoya - "I know, trust me after this I have to wedding shopping with mine and Karan' moms. Let's see how that goes"

jeevika - "Oh my, good luck with that. Okay let's go now before we get late"

Both of them went to their test taking room waited for one of the instructor's to come. The exam took almost all day and by the time Jeevika left the hospital it was 6 pm. She decided to go pick some food up for her and Viren before going home. When she went inside she tried finding Viren. He was upstairs in their bedroom sleeping with Zaaine right besides him. Jeevika picked her son up, checked if he was dry, and then placed him in his crib. Viren woke up and didn't see Zaaine next to him and he quickly ran outside. He saw him with Jeevika.

viren - "When did you come? And how did it go?" he said whispering to her and hugging her from the back.

jeevika - "It was alright. Let's go eat, I brought home some food"

Both of them went downstairs as Zaaine was quietly sleeping in his nursery. Jeevika went to Viren and hugged him. 

jeevika - "I really love you. Thank you for being there"

viren - "Please stop saying thank you" he said hugging her even tighter. 

Both of them started eating dinner. 

jeevika - "Now you don't need to worry about Zaaine for the next two months before your bar exam. And please don't study at home, you'll get distracted with him crying all the time"

viren - "I know, but then who will take care of you" he said smirking

jeevika - "Very funny"

They both then heard Zaaine starting to cry. 

jeevika - "I'll go get him, you finish eating"

viren - "No you finish eating. You were taking your exam all day"

Viren went upstairs while Jeevika finished eating. She was dead tired. She could barely even feed herself now. She decided to go upstairs and quickly take a shower to freshen up. 

jeevika - "Viren I got him now. Let's go to sleep"

viren - "Okay"

Jeevika patted Zaaine to sleep as Viren went to change. By the time he came out both of them were asleep. He put Zaaine back in the crib and went to sleep turning on the alarm on for midnight. 

The alarm rang at midnight and Jeevika quickly got up and turned it off before Viren would get up. She picked up Zaaine and took him downstairs and fed him sitting on the sofa. Even though she was half asleep, she was trying to remember the many things she had to do. She had to take Zaaine for his checkup, buy Zoya's wedding gift, go to the bank, and many other things. She made a mental note of it in her brain. As soon as Zaaine was asleep again she went back upstairs and cuddled with Viren. 

viren - "Is Zaaine okay?" he said half sleep with his eyes shut.

jeevika - "Yeah, go sleep. Don't worry"

Both of them went back to sleep hugging each other.
