Bhakti,
I looked at "Delhi 6", and I understand what you're talking about.
Regarding cultural differences in India compared to Europe: I was reading some forums here. After the initial shock upon arrival in India, people are excited, and as soon as possible they want to go back to India. (Do not forget, we're tourists, and we want to see only the good of India.)
You're asking what kind of music I listen: all except jazz. Lately I listen Indian and Turkish music, and a little Portuguese Fado. Listen this beautiful song (sad song, that's Fado!)

And now something about Belgrade, my city.Belgrade is located at the confluence of two rivers. We have an artificial lake. It looks like a sea.
Look on the bright side of Belgrade (the name of my city means White City):

Belgrade is a safe city, in the middle of the night you can walk without fear. He is a classic European city, the central part of the city is appealing, and there are parts that are disordered, or dirty, or ugly (like everywhere else in the world).
This is a lively city with a lot of concerts, theater performances, art exhibitions etc.
Most tourists come for the weekends, because of night life.
Every tourist who has the chance to spend a few days in Belgrade says it is beautiful, the people are very friendly, some parts are reminiscent of Paris, and it's fun like in Barcelona. I do not see it that way, but, as you see it deficiencies Delhi, so I can see what's wrong in my city.
We have a lot of refugees from the former Yugoslav republics, so that Belgrade does not belong to us Belgraders.
I downloaded some movies that you recommended me. Thank you! 😊
The story of Paris, next time.
