Here is the poem I made for Daya Sir's Birthday contest.

Many of you have already read it...

Just posting it again...

DAYA – THE SUPERCOP

When you hear the word 'Daya',

Instantly a figure appears in front of you...

A CID officer with gun in his hands,

Strong, smart, handsome,

height six-feet-two!!

Daya - the tough Cop...

With a gentle heart and a precious lovely smile,

That rules millions of hearts

And mesmerizes everyone across many a mile!!

Daya - the strong guy...

Who breaks open any door within no time,

Whose driving and fighting skills are unmatched,

One tight slap and the culprit admits his crime!!

Daya - the true friend...

Who looks upto Abhi as his elder brother;

With utmost respect, love and care for him,

Even dying for Abhi, he wont bother!!

Daya - the emotional fool...

Whose eyes sarch for Abhi in all odds, to succeed;

They both understand each other unbelievably well,

Their bonding with each other is immesurable indeed!!

Daya - the joyful fellow...

Who thoroughly enjoys teasing his best buddy;

With his good sense of humour,

He never misses a chance to pinch Fredy!!

Daya - the fierce Cop...

Who has earned faith and trust throughout;

A word against ACP or Abhi,

And he will strangle the person, no doubt!!

Daya - the lovable officer...

Whose words, actions, are clean and tidy;

His juniors look upto him

As one of the best officers of CID!!

Daya - the Supercop...

Who makes us believe everything he did;

He makes us laugh, he makes us cry,

Loved by everyone, be it an old guy or a small kid!!

When we think of Daya, a smile comes across our lips,

Innumerable memories, good and bad, flood into our mind;

He is one of the major pillars of CID,

Such a Supercop where else can we find??

Now that I have become a Senior Member, I am posting another poem of mine...

This is not related to CID, but I love it a lot...cause it is very close to my heart😊

Whenever I am depressed, I read this poem of mine...

And it gives me new hope and courage to face life come what may...

Actually I had written it for a friend of mine who lost her cousin of our age...

But I guess this poem has helped me more than anyone else...

Hope you all like it too...

THIS IS LIFE... MOVE ON !

When things don't go right,

When there's no ray of light;

When life's at the dead end,

When for help, there's no friend;

When in the darkest corner you are,

When the sun seems to be too far;

When the ray of hope is gone...

Tell yourself "THIS IS LIFE" and MOVE ON !!

When your destination is miles apart,

When you don't understand from where to start;

When after a fall it is difficult to rise,

When your belief, your confidence dies;

When everything around is in mess,

When you don't find the solution in any case;

When the sun nothing shines upon...

Tell yourself "THIS IS LIFE" and MOVE ON !!

Even if you are in complete darkness,

dont fear ...

Be calm; just wait and you will see things around

very clear !!

Even if all you see aroud is pain,

Remember : Hard work is never in vain;

Don't curse life, don't curse Him,

He never puts wrong for you;

'Wrong' is never 'wrong' actually...

'cause it guides you right, it guides you through !!

Remember, from all that happens in life

We get something to learn;

With every loss in life,

There is something that we earn...

Remember, after every dark night, there comes dawn...

So tell yourself "THIS IS LIFE" and MOVE ON !!!
