I felt horrible reading about that...the loss of so many young life's . And the little kids that saw the shootings will probably never forget them .

sadly looking at the latest visuals the parents guardians and adults seem more in shock and grief than the children who seem calm collected and able to recount their horrible ordeal which makes me wonder have todays kids been desensitized to death and violence that it no longer makes them recoil in fear or terror

What has happened today in Connecticut has moved me and upset me in more ways than I can articulate.

The rhetoric that is following in the news channels, is sending shivers down through my spine.

What is this society coming to.

Why such glorification of massacare. Why the stampede by the news channels to get news bytes from children who do not undersand the word "death" completely.

Each channel makes a grand stance about getting us all the latest information, but at what cost.

Everyone arguing for their position for or against guns and losing moral compass and compassion fiber that makes us humans.

Is our view of a topic more imoprtant than facts. Fact that it is always the innocent who are losing lives. And now 5 year old and 10 year olds are slain, and people still want to debate what is right and what is wrong.

Is it not plain and simple.

The detached society. Intolerance. Hatred. Putting self over everyone and everything else.

Media, Video Games, Irresponsible Parents, Reprehensible Experts, Unwanted pyscho analysis to find excuses, Politicians in the pockets of powerful Lobbyists, Guns, Glorification of evil via notoriety. Everything is at fault.

More guns are needed to protect ourselves against the people who have guns says one intelligent person.

The mom was strict and the animal had behavioral problems and I can guarantee, he has a troubled past says a doctor.

A congressman says, I deserve and second ammendment says so even when reminded 20 kids lay dead, even now at this hour in the school. There is not a strand of emotion on his face as he fiercely wants to hang on to the second ammendment.

A news channel flashing the name and face of the monster who unleashed this gut wrenching massacare on kids as if it were a Pulitzer winning News item.

Another new channel, shovinf mikes into the faces of kids asking how they are feeling and what they have to say about this.

Mothers calling and asking how to break this news to their kids and what to explain to them.

When others advice, let your kids be kids. Take them away from TV, Media, let them play with toys, or in the sand or read a book. If adults cannot process this, adults have no business asking how to break it to kids so they can process.

The said doctor is told to shut up and told it is never good to lie to children and children should be told the truth no matter how tough it is, says another analyst with a PHD.

Everything has to have an expert commentary

Every minute detail has to have analysis to the point of paralysis.

Every event has to be put on screen and circled and acted and postured by News reading actors.

The way the expressions and the posturing and the dramatic flair of these news people makes a mockery of the pain and the tragedy. Huffing and puffing and walking and delivering the news with dramatic flair has become the norm. These are not journalists but actors and greedy hungry leeches who thrive on presenting a sensationalised story about the most horrific tragedy.

This is beyond reason, beyond comprehension and beyond evil. As long as people go down the path of "I Need It and I Deserve It" they will drag this society into oblivion. These people can be capitalists, socialists or communists. Doesn't matter. When the value of what you need is more important than the harm you cause onto others, that is to me the starting of the end.

can't wait to see how pro-gun fanatics in the states spin this one! knowing them, they will want everyone to protect themselves with more guns. 2nd amendment my butt!
