Sometimes a few words define a person beyond a measure...one such person whose smile provides a glimpse into the beauty of his soul as it wins over hearts is our Birthday Boy today...

Siddharth Shukla(born on 12th December, 1980) is an Indian television actor and model. He is best known for his roles as Veer in Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi, STAR One and as Shubh in Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, Sony TV. He is currently seen in Colors TV's Balika Vadhu as parallel male lead, our beloved Shivraj Shekhar.

Siddharth currently lives with his parents in Mumbai. He enjoys fashion and watching movies. He also has an interest in interior design. Siddharth is a good sportsman and represented his school in table tennis and football.

Mr. Shukla is currently single and says he's not ready to mingle! With his extreme good looks coupled with a shy demeanor it is no wonder he is counted one among the most eligible bachelor of the Tellywood industry.

He started his career in modeling, placing as a runner-up in Gladrags Manhunt, before making his acting debut in the movie I Am In Love, by Savitri International Films. The film did not do well at the box office. Later, he won Best Model Of The World 2005 held in Turkey. He went on do some commercials like Bajaj, Fair & Lovely, ICICI, Siyarams, Krack Cream, etc.

He later got selected as the male lead of Ratna Sinha's Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na as the main lead Shubh. Later, he was seen in NDTV Imagine's Ek Packet Umeed and STAR One's Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi. Then he was seen as Rahul Kashyap in Star Plus's show Love U Zindagi. Siddharth is currently seen portraying the character of Shivraj Shekhar in Colors TV's successful show Balika Vadhu where he is raking in accolades!

He recently won the award for "Most Lokpriya Jodi" along with co-star Pratyusha Banerjee at the Golden Petal Awards.

He has also recently been voted amongst one of the "Sexiest Men" by his numerous fans in a People's Magazine poll!
