I dont think so... As everybody, except those who are in favour of Mandira's Parenting, have mentioned in recent topics made by members of similar topic. That she is too much liberal to her son. Apart from being cool, she should be possessing some germs of strictness which is highly recommended in case of parenting. And which every parent does possess. Due to her calmness known as coolnessTongue. She has thought her son that money is everything. And by doing this they are dragging him towards only good side of this world. And he is completley unaware of the bad side. He thinks that everything can be done through money, or his parents will do it for him...

I go with NO!

Just see her son. He is the captain of the school (of course if Mandira is a trustee, he'll become) Being the captain he did that Mr. India prank.

That shows the freedom he has been given and he is making bad use of it. If it goes on just like this, he will definitely turn out to be a BAD person.

These are the initial stages, if this continues it will be a problem!

This is my opinion, looking forward to what other have said.

Ahsaan, well said.

It's the mistake of CVs. Instead of showing a proper liberal parenting, they have continued the stereotype of showing modern mother as one who doesn't give a crap. While Sweety is at the other extreme.

BTW, at Ridz's prank comment, parents can't change kid's nature. Nobody taught him to prank. I have seen kids from very strict homes do nonsense when outside. Parent's can't do anything about that.

But still, prefer Mandira over Sweety any day. An evil child will find a way to do evil, no matter how controlling parents. But a good and responsible child will feel better under Mandira than Sweety.

Its not the mistake. It is the mentalitiy of the viewers... They are showing what our people think about liberal parenting. Everybody in our society thinks that if parents are too liberal or modern + Rich... Then they giving them bad parvarrish... U know na what they say, "Ameer Maa Baap ki bigdi hui Aulad"... So not the mistake..Smile

That's why I said they are continuing the stereotype. Continuing that stereotype is their mistake. I thought this show would present things in fresh light of view, but this thing disappointed me.
