Producer Ekta Kapoor, who has been dodging her debut on TV, has reportedly agreed to be a part of a show, which is going to be the Indian version of the popular American show led by Donald Trump.

The show saw him mentoring the contestants. And if the deal materialises, Ekta may step into his shoes.
A source reveals, "The producers of the show were very keen to begin a franchise in India. They carried out a poll to see who could best fit the role and their findings indicate that Ekta Kapoor was a popular choice. When the organisers contacted her, Ekta was taken by surprise. As of now, the details are being worked out but from the looks of it, she is very keen to be a part of the show. The Indian version of the series is believed to go on air early next year." Ekta refused to comment.
