Doesn't a banner have to stand for 6 months? Or can it be less?

It can be less if the characters change substantially. Actually by the time we got this banner up the cast had completely changed so that's why we're planning another banner contest. It'll most likely be in the new year though giving this banner about 5 months of being up and then another month before the new one goes up.
