I think rahul saxena, ravinder ravi and abhijit sawant have good chances but as i said my favorite is rahul saxena.

Rahul saxena sings very nice. Even he is my fav.

Dec 16th episode was simply waste of time. Indian idol entertainment. I didnt get entertained by seeing that my mod was off.

I agree, the episode was quite boring- nobody got entertained. But 17th episode was good- raju hela was good.

I am waiting for today's episode where they will show the journey of the 11 finalists.

From next week onwards, the real competition will start. They said that each week, one contestant will be voted out.

Girl drops out of Indian Idol

Priyanka Venkateshwara, the 17-year-old who made it to the final gala
around of Indian Idol, has walked out of the show.

She had impressed with her soulful rendition of Pyar To Hona Hi Tha in
her audition round and later bowled the judges with a very dramatic
rendition of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with her onscreen partner Amit Tandon.

She will be missing from the final 11 who will be showcased on the
show this week. So what triggered Priyanka into walking out on the show?

Sources close to the channel said Priyanka's father who handles her
contract was unhappy with the way it had shaped up. After chances of
coming to a common consensus failed he decided it was in the best
interest of his daughter to walk out of the show.

When contacted Priyanka's father refused to comment on the matter
saying his daughter chose to concentrate on her academics at this
stage in her life.

On her decision to say goodbye to Idol, Venkateshwara said, "When I
signed the contract I thought the show would probably come to an end
this year, but it seems it will go on till January or February next
year. I can't commit so much of my time for the show cause I have to
prepare for my H.S.C exams."

When asked about the nature of the contract she quickly replies, "My
father is involved with the legal aspect so I don't really know
anything about it. You would have to talk to him.

But all I can say is that the contract demanded a lot of time and
commitment from me, which I am not ready to offer right now. I want to
take up management as a career option, and am sure there will be more
platforms which will offer me a chance to display my singing prowess. "

But she was a good singer. I liked her voice. Even she was good looking. In future she may get mny opportunity but she lost this golden opportunity. It would have made her life if she had won.

Huy, did any of you watch yesterday's episode? I think it was not as good as i expected it to be. It seemed that the participants were made to sing fast numbers and it did not suit some singers' style.

Anyway, since rahul saxena is my fav, i voted for him. Cutereems, did u vote for him?

I didnt vote Rahul since i didnt watch the episode. I saw only Prajakta singing aika dajiba and Rahul Vaidya singing Dil deewana.......

Which song did Rahul saxena sing??? Surely i will vote him next time.
