Vijay in a different light    

Thuppakki is being commended for many reasons and one among them is the camerawork of Santosh Sivan. He has captured the bustling energy of Mumbai very well in live locations.

He is all praise for Vijay for his disciplined and professional approach with no starry airs. In Mumbai, Vijay was very much eager and involved in the proceedings like any other unit member.

Santosh loved Vijay's skin tone in the movie which was in contrast to all the North Indian characters around him. All this admiration has translated into some good work on screen as audiences are thoroughly enjoying this action entertainer.
 

Vijay's pick is Vicky Donor!     
 
The Thuppakki team, along with the hero Vijay, was stationed in Mumbai for a good 6-7 months in an attempt to shoot the film in the Maximum City for an authentic feel. In between all the hectic schedules of shooting for the film, Vijay has admitted to have found time to watch almost all the Hindi releases that came out during that period.

It is believed that Vijay would go to a Cineplex every Friday and nonchalantly buy a ticket from the counter and seat himself right in the middle of the hall to enjoy the film, one thing he just cannot afford to do in the South. While he was audience to many top hero films like Don-2 and Agneepath, the movie that supposedly impressed him the most was the offbeat and quirky Vicky Donor.
 

Vijay's success and his new title    
 
The entire team of Thuppakki is basking in good reviews and praises. Recently the film's lead actor Vijay, in order to celebrate the success of the film hosted a superb party for the entire team at his place. The entire team including director AR Murugadoss is said to have attended the party and through their social networking pages, the attendees expressed how good Vijay and his better half, Sangeetha were in throwing parties.

Meanwhile, Vijay is also gearing up for his next film with AL Vijay. It hasn't been titled yet, but the director is likely to decide on it before he leaves for the schedules in Malaysia and Singapore.

Amala Paul pairs up with actor Vijay for the first time and Santhanam is also part of the cast. Though a formal confirmation on the crew hasn't come our way, it is expected to be AL Vijay's usual team, comprising of GV Prakash, Nirav Shah and Anthony.

I think i started to know Vijay or started to enjoy his acting from Kadhalaku Mariyadhey 😳 Since that movie i never fail to miss any of his other movies 😛.

Illayathalapathy Vijay and Amala Paul, who are coming together in their next film with Director A.L.Vijay did a photo shoot yesterday in Chennai at the AVM Studios. The film is yet to be titled but the lead pair have been confirmed to play the lead.

Nirav Shah, the cinematographer of the film and a still photographer took the test photos with the actors who are working together for the first time. The film also includes Santhanam, who will be playing pivotal role in the story and will join shooting which is scheduled to begin on the 25th of November. Vijay will once again be working in Mumbai, where most of his last film Thuppakki was made. It is also being said that Director A.L.Vijay will be making a large portion of the project in Australia. Having done the same with London last time with Thaandavam, we can expect some great visuals on screen.

Vijay to join superstar?
    
Yes you heard us right! But it is likely to be the superstar of the Malayalam industry, Mohanlal. Post the success of Thuppakki, Vijay's next with AL Vijay and Amala Paul is all set to go on floors and following which the actor might join Mohanlal, who was last seen in Unnai Pol Oruvan, for a straight Tamil film.

Similarly, Dhanush is also joining hands with another Malayalam superstar, Mammooty for a Malayalam film, Kammath & Kammath. The Aadukalam star is doing a cameo in the film that also stars Dileep, Kunchako Boban, Karthika Nair and Rima Kallingal.
 

Vijay follows Ajith    

Vijay is eager to move on to his next project to be directed by A.L.Vijay. This as yet untitled movie has Amala Paul opposite Vijay.

This movie will kick start its proceedings in Mumbai, which has become the new favourite among Tamil film makers, from November 23rd. Vijay had shot for a majority of his recent Thuppakki in Mumbai while Ajith is also currently shooting for his next film in Mumbai.

Looks like Vijay and Ajith would be shooting in nearby locales for their upcoming films in the 'Maximum City', Mumbai.
