Khushi starts taking care of her financial status by successfully operating her Dabba Service! Arnav gets happy seeing her becoming independent. In Arav's matter, they decide that they are in this together. However Arnav is facing a problem with his London office. He tries to deal with it from India but is unsuccessful. He decides to go to London to look into the matter and solve the problem. He tells everyone about the same. Anjali feels sad and asks for how long will he be gone. He tells her that atleast two months. Khushi gets upset on hearing this. Arnav sees this and makes her understand that its necessary. Khushi understands and agrees with his decision. Arnav is ready to leave the next day. Everyone is in the living room to bid farewell to Arnav. Arnav and Anjali hug. Anjali tells him to take care and keep calling her everyday. He promises to do so. He takes blessings from Nani and Mami and they also tell him the same. He goes to NK and asks him to take care of everyone. NK assures him that he will. He hugs Arav and tells him to be a good boy. Arav promises that he will be and asks him to come back as soon as possible. He looks at Khushi, she is standing still with tears in her eyes. He goes to her and hugs her. She hugs him tight. He kisses her on the forehead and promises her to be back as soon as possible. She says "I know" as she knows he can't stay away from her for long. They smile and Arnav goes to leave. At the door Arnav turns one last time to see everyone. Arav runs to him and Arnav picks him up and hugs him. Khushi and Anjali go to them and all four of them hug tight. Arnav puts Arav down and tells him to take care of his Mom and Bua. He says "I will". Arnav leaves...Khushi looks at him going away!...
At night Khushi receives a phone call from Arnav. Arnav says that he has reached safely. He asks about everyone. Khushi says everyone is fine and all are sleeping. Arnav asks why she is not sleeping and Khushi replies, " Kyunki humara haath pakadne wala koi nahi hai na isiliye!" They talk for a while and then Arnav asks her to sleep and they hang up. After a few days Khushi gets a big catering order for a wedding. She decides to talk to them. She asks Anjali to accompany her as she has never done a meeting of this sort alone. Anjali agrees to go with her.
They reach the house; more like a mansion. They are greeted in the house. The mom and dad of the bride come to talk to them. The bride also comes and they all talk about the functions and decide that Khushi will handle the catering for the entire course of the wedding. Anjali wants to use the washroom and goes to where they point. She slips in the way but gets caught by a man(Viraf Patel). She has her eyes closed ... the guy asks her if she's okay. She gently opens her eyes. They both look into each others' eyes. The guy looks in her eyes and for a moment his eyes get stuck on her face. Khushi and the family run to them. Khushi asks Anjali whether she's fine. Anjali tries to stand up but the guy just holds her tight. The bride sees this and smiles silently. She says, "Nikhil bhai chod do, woh nahi giregi." Nikhil realizes the situation and lets Anjali stand up. Both Anjali and Khushi leave.
Anjali and Nikhil become good friends over the course of the wedding. She also gets closer to Nikhil's family. Khushi also develops a sweet relationship with Nisha (the bride) and the family. Nikhil starts liking Anjali and Anjali also gets comfortable around him. During the wedding Nisha keeps observing her brother Nikhil's behavior everytime Anjali is around. She gets so happy seeing Anjali and Nikhil together. On the other hand Khushi also observes that Anjali gets all happy everytime she's around Nikhil. She gets a hint of Anjali's future.
It's been almost two months since Arnav left! The wedding order goes perfectly. Everyone praises Khushi's food. She starts getting a lot of orders after the wedding. Arav and Khushi are also gelling well. Anjali and Nikhil are spending good amount of time together. Nikhil's liking for Anjali turns into love. He is always around. He always makes Anjali happy. Khushi gets happy seeing this.
After a few days, Khushi goes to meet one of her clients. She tells Nani that she'll pick up Arav on her way back home. In the afternoon door bell rings and HP opens the door and says "Aap?" Anjali, Nani, and Mami ask who is at the door. A guy in a suit enter and Anjali says, "Chote!" ...
Arnav comes home! Anjali hugs him first and then Nani and Mami. NK comes and says, "Nannav, mere bhai!" and they hug. Arnav asks about Khushi and Arav and Nani says that Arav is at school and Khushi went to meet a client. Anjali tells Arnav about Khushi's business and the wedding and stuff. Arnav feels proud of Khushi and tells everyone to keep quite and not tell Khushi that he's home!
In the evening Khushi and Arav come home. Arav runs to Anjali. Khushi's back is facing the poolside and she's looking for her phone in her bag. Arav's facing the poolside and sees Arnav. He gets happy and is about to shout out "Dad" but Arnav signals him to keep quite. Arav keeps quiet and Arnav starts coming towards Khushi. Anjali, Nani, Mami, NK, and Arav look on excitedly. He puts his foot inside the living room and Khushi feels a cold breeze! She whispers "Arnavji"...Arnav stops! Everyone is jaw dropped as to how Khushi knew Arnav's here. She looks up and turns around and sees Arnav standing there. She gets happy and all teary and just runs into his arms. They hug tight for a while. They separate and Arnav kisses her forehead. Arav runs to Arnav and they both hug. Arav asks Khushi how she knew Arnav was here, and she says, "Bas...pata chal jata hai!"...
PS: With this track Barun can get a much needed break and we all get happy by not seeing someone else as Arnav!!
