Gaghra Choli is  a traditional dress of that particular region of the country.
I am sure they were them in their evry day life just like people who wear sarees in other parts of the country.

Women whether in urban or rural areas of this country still dress traditionally.

So what Sanchi said and feels is far from reality.

"interior" not "anterior" as in the gaons...not the cities.  Even in Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udaipur I observed women wearing traditional rajasthani attire and in the villages I traversed it was very much the norm.

Anterior n interior r 2 different words by the way.  LOL  Please don't restrict ur thinking to only what you know and/or have personally observed.

the point is not if it modern or not, the point is that it is what they wear in their district and sicne she is also anrepsresntative of that district she realyl cant abandon tradiotions clothes for modernity!! and i firmly beleive clothes really dont make u modern or unmodern it was uncalled for by sanchi and i just am abt to lose my paitence ofr the family of shiv who is bearing sanchi so much!!
