I see nothing here. Barun had a job and made money. He is happy about that.
 Gul and others made more money. They are happy.

 He is moving on and reluctant to discuss offers. He has mentally left the show in Feb as did the CV's.

People who see him as a martyr or a hero are pathetic fools. He is a businessman and looking ahead to his future. Right now he can bank on the success of ASR and leave a sinking ship. He may want to spend time with family but no sane person leaves a show to do that.

He is covering up other opportunities. I feel sorry for people who want to make a hero out of  a young naive soapstar, who is trying to make it. It is obvious that he does not really understand the value of ASR fully.

NK's, Daljeet and Abhaas' tweets all confirm that this is a choice that he is making. Maybe a hard one, but his choice. People are insane to make him more than an actor who wants to make it big and figuring out how to do it.
