                                                   CHAPTER 7

                When Arnav went to the parking lot to get his car his felt his heart constrict as if he is leaving something precious behind but again his mind drifted to the argument few minutes back. Getting into his car he drove straight to RM all the while thinking about the convo or more aptly argument.

Arnav(to himself): I shud hv handled the situation more calmly afterall she is the sponsor and main designer of this event. I cant deny whatever she said was correct. AR truly needs this this deal to firm its roots overseas and launching the new line with 'KS fashions' will bring more glory to AR. If she spoke to me that way means she wont hesitate to close down the deal. Fine then I will talk to her tomorrow and agree to the clauses without showing her my defeat. She is intelligent and moreover ruthless just as I was some years ago. She actually knows how to dominate. She truly has the spark in her to become so successful…………..What the……..what am I thinking? Did I just praise that arrogant Miss-i-can-do-anything ? Why are all my thoughts heading towards her? Argh!! Damn u Miss K…….u hv totally messed up my  mind.

                 Thinking all this he entered his house and started marching towards his room not hearing the constant calls given by Anjali.

Anjali(shouting): CHOTTE!!!!!

Finally hearing Anjali's shout he stopped halfway through the stairs and turned back.

Arnav: What Di? Why are u shouting?

Anjali: Chotte I hv been calling u since the time u entered the house and u are looking all lost. Did u even hear what I said?

Arnav: Uh….erm……Di I was thinking something about the new deal which I am going to sign with KS Fashions.

Anjali: What u are signing a deal with KS Fashions and u didn't even tell me.

Arnav: Relax Di I didn't want to involve u since u are already worked up for the ceremony. So what is that u wanted to say?

Anjali: Whatever chotte, u shud hv told me. Anyways I was saying that ur jiju is here and he wanted to meet u. Wait a minute, even he didn't tell me about the deal?

A voice from behind Anjali: Anju that's because I am hearing it now only. Arnav u didn't even tell me about it.

Arnav: Jiju that's because u returned from Mumbai yesterday and I didn't tell u since I wanted to get the deal on my talents not on ur influence.

Voice: Ok Arnav as u wish. Wait , so this means that when Mr. Mehra told me that the new client is hell arrogant and is adamant on changing the clauses, it was u?(Saying this he burst out laughing and Anjali also joined him)

Anjali: See chotte atleast now change ur attitude even people are openly regarding u as arrogant.

Arnav just glared at both of them and started marching towards his room.

Voice: Hey wait Arnav! U r signing the deal means K agreed to change the clauses? That's not possible!

Arnav: Yes u r right that's not possible and no, she didn't change the clauses instead I changed my mind and decided to agree and sign the deal.

Anjali: O so Miss K made ASR change his mind in the 1^st meet itself. She truly is something ,I so want to meet her.

Arnav: Shut up Di……..and I didn't even meet her.

Anjali: WHAT?

Then Arnav described the whole event including the argument and why he changed his mind.

Hearing this his Di and Jiju burst out laughing holding their tummies.

Voice: Arnav u r so dead man……..in the 1^st convo itself u managed to get into the bad books of K. I am sure even if she gives u this project she will make it hell hard for u.

Arnav: Yeah she was more difficult than I had thought her to be but she is intelligent.

Voice: So finally ASR got someone who will give him a tough competition. God knows how you both will work with eachother.

Anjali: Ok now Vishal stop teasing my brother. Chotte go get ready and come down soon and Vishal u too get ready soon…..I am sure u don't want to be late for ur own engagement.(with that the 3 of them dispersed in their directions)

             Yes guys its none other than Khushi's friend Vishal who is Arnav's soon to be jiju and today its his engagement to Anjali. Well as for Anjali, she is no more 'poojali' now….i mean she does not spend whole of her time doing poojas. After recovering from coma and grieving enough over that b****rd Shyaam , Anjali realized about her foolishness. Had she not been so foolish, matters wud not hv been so worse. So she decided to join her chotte in his business so that she cud do something for herself and her daughter. With a lot of persuading Arnav finally agreed to let her do the work but he always accompanied to all meetings and never let her become stressed. It was in such a meeting that they had met Vishal who had come to the meeting to represent KS. While interacting with everone, Vishal(he is a year older to Anjali but since he, Lav and Khushi met as friends so they call him by name ) had developed an instant liking for Anjali. During that event they met various times and became friends. Soon after they started meeting outside and grew closer and fell for eachother. When V proposed her , she was hesitant and told everything regarding her past to him. But Vishal truly loved her and was ready to accept her with all her flaws. So they talked to Arnav about it but he was 1^st very reluctant seeing the past incidents with his sister. But then he inquired about Vishal and finally agreed to it seeing the fact that his Di was happy and somewhere he knew that V was a nice guy and truly loved Anjali. The fact that satisfied him more was that V was the manager of KS fashions and was independent unlike Shyaam. V earned a lot of money so he became sure that he was not with Anjali for money. On seeing V, Annie instantly liked him and even calls him papa. So after about 1 year of dating Anjali and Vishal were going to get engaged today and their marriage is after some weeks.

          At Khushi's office………she exited the conference room after almost 1 hr of the meeting, finally having convinced the clients about the problems and discussing their solutions.

Khushi: Mehra, I know that he will agree to this deal since it is a golden opportunity for any company. And get me the details of his company by tomorrow morning. I will be handling the deal myself so make sure that even the minute tasks shud hv my permission to be carried out. Is that clear?

Mehra: Yes ma'm.

Khushi: Alright , u may leave now.(Mehra leaves)

Khushi(to herself):  Just wait and watch Mr. what it costs to mess with KS.

Just then Lav arrives : K lets leave we are already late………… V is going to kill us.

Khushi: Relax Lav, he knows we were in this meeting.

Lav: K u r ok right….. I mean u will meet them all after so long.

Khushi: I am fine Lav………….besides I knew this was coming since the day Vishal told me that he loves Anjali. I knew I had to do this coz V wud never step into his new life in my absence. I am doing all this just for V and I don't care about the Raizadas anymore. Anyways we shud not waste more time discussing worthless matters ………. V needs us now and we shud go.

             Thus they went and sat inside their SUV; their bodyguards taking their places in the other two and drove towards RM.
