New article about Barun in Hindustan Times

With the popular actor exiting his show soon, a new entry seems to be in the pipeline

Fans of the popular Star Plus show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon were shocked when reports of lead actor Barun Sobti aka Arnav Singh Raizada's exit from the show made the rounds. Though Barun has claimed that he is going on an extended leave from the show, there are rumours that he will not return.

Barun who has got a break in Bollywood with Main Aur Mr Right, earlier had taken 40 days leave to shoot the film. But now sources claim that he is looking at quitting the show altogether. The buzz is that Barun has put down his papers stating that he needs a break as he has been working for a long time now. He wants to spend time with his family, especially his wife.

The producers of the show have zeroed in on Viraf Phiroz Patel as the new lead in the show. He will be the new man in Khushi's (the female lead played by Sanaya Irani) life. Viraf was finalised after considering many names and as the show is more on the lines of Mills and Boon kind of romance, the lead actor had to be a young, handsome man.
