a lot of theories are being put forward about sidhu's eviction. everyone is epeculating.
here is the truth of sidhu's exit, as per hindustan times, and channle's insider source(which i cant disclose.)
the contract of sidhu was till 21st nov. after that, he was supposed to leave, giving same reason as given now, that is to campeign.
but he was asked to exit BEFORE his contract was over, abruptly.
how? well it turns out that BJP was not happy even when sidhu decided to go to bigg boss. bul sidhu went anyway. however, few things happened at the show, that made bjp very angry and it ordered sidhu's return. (if u hav seen sidhu's wife talking to sidhu on bb, he asks, 'is it an order?", wife replies, 'yes".)
so why was party so harsh and abrupt?
reasons;
1. the last two weeks in bb have made bjp very apprehensive that colours is trying to project sidhu in bad light only for viewership. as evident from lie detector tests. bjp was furious at the test done and shown. if questions about sidhus career could be asked, the party feared that internal questions about the party could also be asked by bb. it feared that if sidhu continues in bb, such attempts will continue. even losing of sidhu in rajnati task due to channle's planning was not acceptable to bjp, because sidhu being a politician should have (been made to) win the task.
2. (most imp reason) bjp was not happy at bb showing the insults of sidhu by various contestants, ESP URVASHI AND SAPNA in military task. although backbbiting was common earlier, but in this task, open abuses and shoutings at sidhu were there. this did not go down well with bjp. further the party was angry at colours for showing such footage. it was intolerable for bjp to see its leader being insulted on national tv. as per bjp, such humilations were destroying sidhu's image in public.
the channle is not happy at sidhu's exit, because major trp drop is expected. but bjp was adamant, so channle had to agree.
to sum up, two main reasons of sidhu's exit: the lie detector test and insult by sapna and urvashi.
