Chapter 8

A lot of laughter was in the air like NK answering a truth question about how empty his love life is.. Maami singing.. The bottle spun to Khushi.
"Khushiji truth or dare?" NK asks.
"Dare! I can do anything!" Khushi smiles confidently.
"Oh really?" Arnav says raising his eyebrows.
"Yep!" Khushi nods.
"I dare you to kiss me right here right now." Arnav grins knowing Khushi won't.
Khushi gulps looking at everyone giggling..
"Come on pati sari! Girl power!!" Mami shouts.
Khushi looks at Arnav who was grinning. 
'Hmph Laad Governor thinks I won't do it, well I will!' Khushi thought looking determined.
She shut her eyes and leaned close to Arnav. Everyone's eyes opened wide seeing Khushi prepare to make a move.
All of a sudden Arnav's phone rang, Khushi opened her eyes and ran off to the poolside. Arnav coughed, got up and answered the phone.
"Hello Aman" Arnav walked off.
"So I guess this game is over?" NK said watching everyone walk away.

Khushi breathed loudly trying to control her rapid heart.
"Its okay Khushi, nothing has happened.. Nothing has happened?! You was about to kiss Arnavji infront of everyone!" Khushi argued with herself.
Arnav folded his arms amused at Khushi arguing with herself.
"So if my phone didn't ring what would of happened?" Arnav asked.
Khushi turned around to a smiling Arnav.
"I-I-I would of kissed you!" Khushi stuttered.
"Really?" Arnav raised his eyebrows taking a step towards Khushi.
"Y-Yes I'm not afraid of dares!" Khushi tried to remain confident.
Arnav snaked his arm around Khushi's waist bringing her close.
"You talk too much Khushi.." Arnav whispered bringing his self close to Khushi's lips...

ANDD BAM! Hehehe I find this chapter more of a filler chapter.. Not my best one to be honest. Will update tomorrow but leave feedback if you want! Oh and guys PM me what you would like to happen in this FF so I can try and fit it in! 😃

read all 8 parts in one go loved it. you have written the story by giving a different dimension to the actual scene happened in the terrace, where arnav actually heard khushi's confession. loved it. Edited by laksh65 - 11 years ago

Again nicely written and thank Arnav arrived and saved her, but still for me a little late as I can't stand the fact, that someone else then Arnav kissed Kushi's face.

Chapter 9

"You talk too much Khushi..." Arnav whispered bringing his self close to Khushi's lips...
"Saale saab!" Shyam called.
Arnav and Khushi opened their eyes staring at Shyam in annoyance.
" Umm Rani Sahiba told me to call you about yours and Khush-" Shyam received a death glare by Arnav, "About your wedding" 
Shyam hurried away smirking.
"Let's go Arnavji" Khushi holds Arnav's hand smiling at him.

"Di you called?" Arnav asked.
"Yes Chotte, so we have decided that tomorrow will be the 'Rokha' " Anjali smiles seeing Arnav's and Khushi's smile.
"Oh yeah but one rule Chotte! You cannot come to the Rokha!" Anjali tries to look serious.
"What the.. But its my wedding too!" Arnav looks annoyed.
Nani laughs "The wedding is being done by tradition! You and Akash cannot come!"
Akash pats Arnav's back sympathetically. Arnav sighs heavily storming off
"Arn-" Khushi sighs sadly.

The next morning the Gupta family rush around making the house spotless.
"Hurry up with the presents Sanka Devi! They will be coming soon!" Buaji shouts panicking.
"Don't worry Buaji they won't come ye-" The doorbell rings.
Khushi gasps as she still isn't ready yet!
"Buaji wait don't open the door yet!" Khushi screams running to her bedroom.
The Gupta family greet the Raizadas (apart from Arnav and Akash) into their home.
"Where is Khushi?" Nani asks.
"Khushi!" Garima calls.
Khushi walks in wearing a simple 'Anarkali' suit. (The one she wore in her Rokha)
Khushi sits down inbetween Nani and Anjali avoiding eye contact with Shyam who was looking at her.
"Shall we begin the ceremony?" Nani smiles.

After the ceremony Khushi watches the door just waiting for the door to fling open and for Arnavji to come in Salman Khan style then he- Khushi's thoughts were interrupted by a voice sending a chill down Khushi's spine, and not the good kind.
"Khushiji. There is one gift here for you" Shyam smiled evilly.  
Khushi opened her eyes wide unsure what to do.
"What are you waiting for Khushiji? Take the gift from Shyamji" Anjali smiled.
Khushi looked at Shyam in disgust as she reached out her hand. Shyam grinned reaching his fingers out to touch Khushi's hand.
"So is the Rokha finished?" A voice interrupted.
Khushi took her hand back immediately and smiled happily.
Shyam flinched staring at Arnav angrily.
"Chotte? what are you doing here?" Anjali said surprised.
"Di did you actually think me and Akash were gonna stay home?" Arnav laughed staring at Khushi.
Anjali shook her head smiling at her brothers.
"Can we eat now I'm hungry!" NK moaned.
Arnav sat down next to Khushi stroking her hand with his thumb. In the corner of his eye he saw Shyam getting angrier and angrier squeezing his glass of juice tightly.
Khushi smiled hugging Arnav tight.
