Shrenu Parikh was born and raised in Vadodara, Gujarat. She finished her educational studies by graduating from college with a BPharm degree, and she always had an interest in modeling. Shrenu won a Miss University title in 2007,Miss vadodara title in 2008 and also won a few other beauty pageants & dance competitions too..Shrenu has also hosted a number of events & shows in Vadodara.

As a child, Parikh used to mimic characters from Kyunk Saas Bi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She loved to participate in school plays, and has an interest in singing as well. She currently resides in Mumbai.

Shrenu started her acting career with a small role in the popular TV show, Gulaal...she selected a small role as she was completing her studies at the same time. Later, she was offered the lead role in Rajan Shahi's Havan, on Colors TV opposite Kunal Verma. Shrenu portrayed the character of Aastha, a girl who belongs to a poor family and believes in a person called Baapji, who is like God to her.

After Havan, Shrenu got selected as the female protagonist 'Rajnibala' in Hats Off's latest show, Byah Hamari Bahu Ka on Sony TV alongside Gaurav Khanna.
