I think the scene was supposed to be a parallel of the mandir scene of Ansh (the one during J's agaman in Jaitser) but it didn't turn out the way they conceived it.. mostly coz the actors weren't convinced about it..

sjee has not been shown doing care for his own family just doing favours to singh family and even now he ignores his office work always doing  something for ajee family ,,, totally ignoring shekhars

Symbolic hi to h...Ajee considers herself Parvati and she waited for her "SHIV".It was her mistake she thot J was the -------------.But now that symbolism has come out to prove to J that even god doesnt consider him worthy of that idol.The idol is a symbol of destiny's plans..
