Is Character 3 - Vaidyanathan? Vaidyanathan means Lord Shiva and I believe his vehicle is a bull (nandi).

But sadly I had something else in mind!

Congratulations Hollie, Smiles and Shravaya!

Character 1 : Rajasekar/Varadarajan and Kanagu(is more appropriate) but the "father" indicates RS/VR who is cool in both serials!

Character 2 : TamilArasu (the crown)/ Tamil that unites us in the forum( That is common among us all)

Character 3 : Yamini!

Character 4 : Meenakshi (If you google the poem, you will get it!)

Character 5 : Charu!!! Tongue

Character 6 : Saravana (Surya's ads)

Character 7 : Kalyani/ Mallika (Suzanne) (soap means serial also!)

Character 8 : Thulasi!

About the second part - so is the final answer made up of 4 letters? (in tamil I mean)

Hm...yes nu nenaikurein...even i'm not that good with Tamil...In English itself it is easy to get it...I don't know about the number of letters...

This particular puzzle needs the working to be shown Tongue
