LAUKI KA HALWA RECIPE (Page 2)

Gajar ka halwa is my favourite mithai. but i'm going to try this Dodhi ka halwa or "Lauki ka halwa". Maybe it will bring a MANLY Arjun, hahahaROFLROFL

khoya is easily available in sweets shop

Ingredients


1 No. Lauki 1/2 kg Milk 1 cup Sugar 1/2 kg Khoya 4 tbsp Ghee Silver foil for decoration dry fruits

Directions

    Peel Lauki and grate it. Heat ghee in a pan and add grated lauki to it. Cook for 2-3 min and add milk to it. Let it cook till the lauki becomes tender. Keep stirring. Add khoya and continue cooking for a while. When the mixture is lumpy, add sugar and cook till it dissolves completely.
  1. Before serving, garnish with dry fruits and silver foil.
The silver foil decoration is optional ..

tanyaz i agree it indeed is very tasty..but i mostly i like the kheer made out from it..Embarrassed

tanyaz i agree it indeed is very tasty..but i mostly i like the kheer made out from it..Embarrassed
You can make kheer from it too? Really. Please provide the recipe.
