I am so late in watching today's episode.. But I loved it. Not just because of Urmi's diabetes news.(of course that was part of it Wink

) I loved the other parts.. The parts where Mota Bhabhi talked of the family.. It was so aww Embarrassed

Not just that.. they really meant it. The expression on Baa's face when she refused Urmi's food offers (that cheapo Dead

) and that on Hetal's told the tale..

These people love Koki.. Baa is just another mother to her DILs.. The way that Mota Bhabhi discussed Koki with Ahem.. everything gave a feeling of oneness and family.. Modis are amazing Big smile

They remind me of people back home Embarrassed

For me more than Urmi's Karma just biting her, the other highlights were,

* Mota Bhabhi and Baa's love for Koki. From Gopi, it was expected. She is a sweetheart and loves her Maaji.. but these two proved just as sweet and maybe more Tongue

* Ahem's quick decision. His shock and worry when the specialist was looking at Koki's result and then the genuine smile at the good news. Ahem really loves his mom and Nazim brings that out perfectly. He is worried, concerned for her and he really, genuinely feels happy for his mom.. Great expressions Clap

* That split second when Koki told Gopi not to worry. Gopi's nod but her face still remained clouded and that final look Koki gave her just before the scene cut to UrShi.. Rupal Patel.. Hats off Clap

Koki's love for Gopi, her child was seen in that one split second. Watch it closely. Koki assured Ahem, yes and smiled as he nodded but she knew Gopi would not be satisfied even after that assurance. A mother knows her child. Gopi worries for others and Koki knows that and deep down she loves the fact that her Gopi vahu loves her to pieces.. I am really touched by GoKi today. They are the mother-daughter pair that make me all choked up Cry

(I am in that mood for family and goodwill.. Can you guess Embarrassed

* The hand over of responsibility... well the most surprising but most happy part today. It has been decided that the younger Modi bahu's will take up responsibility from the older ones.. Baa's decision and we see no dissent from Mota Bhabhi or Koki. It is a family tradition.. Gopi and Rashi have been DILs for almost 3 years now and they elders want them to manage the house and the other responsibilities.

I liked how this is being done. Starting with a festival the responsibilities will be given off slowly. The DIL gets time to learn and adjust and make their own judgement. The fact that they did not entirely give the responsibility on Rashi is also good. Rashi is the book keeper. She gets to do the math. Gopi is the consultant.

In future these two girls will have to take over the Modi house from their MILs. This is just the first step (Seems like a serious one as per the ME tagline LOL

)

From the things I could see, Gopi is more enthusiastic for Diwali. While Rashi is looking to cut costs and take some money herself (but how? I thought the girls had to maintain accounts Confused

), Gopi is into dreams of lamps and sarees and decorations Big smile

I liked her explanation for getting bigger lamps. The girl should know .She has done this for 2 years running Smile

If Rashi just does this right, she may learn something. But I am sure that is not what the track is. I am waiting to see how the Modi Bahu's fulfill their first responsibility. This is exciting Tongue

, today's episode was really good, first thing was surely the family support and concern came out for koki was really true, hetal and baa was too sweet...and urmi ohh my god ,how can be somebody so cheap Angry

, she ordered food with so much money only to show off, isn't she always crying for money...and rashi I don't feel any goodness in her if she shows her concern also, it is totally fake, she is not having any respect and love for anybody in her heart,otherwise she just can't follow urmi so blind... Angry

, even she is thinking to save money for her own from dewali money also...that is the limit... Shocked

Now for tomorrow and ME I am not pretty sure about the problem between gopi rashi...I think rashi will anyhow manage to have a card party, urmi will cheat and gopi,koki will catch that...this time also urmi will not be able to succeed...rashi will do some money mishandle and try to blame on gopi as she is not that educated saying she couldn't count...but gopi probably will prove that wrong...more precisely we will be able to say after tomorrow episode... Big smile

Though Rashi seems to grow a conscience, I think she is more worried about getting caught than actually feeling that she is wrong. Her talk to her mother about playing with other's health if genuine should have lasted longer. Just my PoV Smile

There will be a card game. Rashi will convince all of the plan but their KK will fail most probably by SB LOL

SB is a bigger player than UrShi and Urmi will lose money.. For Modi's it is not big deal. For Urmi. .it is Wink

This time, the books and accounts are with Rashi. She also has to call the various shops and people.. Gopi has been given some relief as she is pregnant. Rashi will surely try some misappropriation. She has already started by suggesting small lamps and calling out the cost of decorations but it looks like Gopi has grown a bit of a backbone..

It will be interesting to watch what KK Urmi tells Rashi and how Gopi overcomes it. This one should also backfire on UrShi.. It will be a good lesson learnt Smile

Harini... I loved it too.. as always fabulous post... Loved how they love Kokila.. they love her so much that if hse gets sick and if she needs to be on diet, every one in the family will eat the same thing.. how cute... Big smile

Then I loved the way how the responsibilities were given to Rashi... she discussing everything with Gopi as she is the badi bahu... LOL

.. Rashi has to take her approval for everything... awww that's cute.. Rashi ka chehra dekhne laayak tha... LOL

Today was all about family.. And right before Diwali too.. The Modi's make me want to hug my family back home with all the love they show Koki.. Awww.. Embarrassed

What was hilarious was how Rashi thought she was given a lakh for personal use LOL

Koki judged right and Rashi could not understand what Koki said in Shudh Hindi ROFL

The best part of that scene was Mota Bhabhi given Rashi a big book.. The catch in this situation is of course Gopi. She is sincere and has grown a little more worldly.. She has managed her own business.

It is time for Rashi to stop her KKs. Rashi will get caught. Her gawar cousin has come into her own now Tongue

i loved the episode Harini and thanks for the awesome analysis!

Urmi really touched new lows with her pathetic behaviour...i was totally stunned that she dared to order for food and eat in front of the Modis..really disgusting! i knew Hetal wouldnt but atleast Baa could have told her something..i was so hoping for that...

Ahem was so cute today...we have never seen him interact so much with Hetal and i loved the scene where they discussed Koki's health..i wish we see more of them together

i think the fact that all actors have been together since more than 2 years shows on screen...the genuine affection came across beautifully in the dining table scene with Hetal Baa and Gopi deciding to eat whatever Koki has to eat to encourage her..aww it was sweet and Rashi always suffers from her mummy's kalakaries and had to end up eating the bland food cooked for Koki

I was totally disappointed in Rashi today..i thought inspite of everything now Rashi does have some affection for the Modis and so does not follow her mother willingly but no...she might keep telling Urmi that it is wrong but she does it anyways and now the coming track will show how blind she can get in her greed for money

again the scene where Koki was tested again was super and all because of Ahem

...i literally cheered for him when he told off Urmi sternly to let the doc do his job..by his standards he still was polite

...and Hetal stood by him

...Urshi KKs went up in smoke with the Modi family coming together

CVs now believe in instant justice be it Savitaben getting dengue or Urmi now suffering from diabetes and i love it

...

I see a marked change in the way Koki behaves with Rashi...the way she told her to enter her room when Rashi came with tea for her..she willingly gave the money to her for handling the Diwali expenses. Koki knows that Rashi is heavily influenced by Urmi and wants to help her come out of it..dont know how much she can do if Rashi herself is not willing to come out of her mummy's hold
