Oh! Vanny di, Thank you for agreeing to continue writeing the analysis, di I had wondered how you wrote so good on the dreamer, thought you had interest in writing.

I had mentioned in the Dreamer whilst answering DOC108(Sujata Di) questions, that I have a passion for writing. But it has been sidelined. I just decided to write this since we are planning on starting the Newsletter and we'll need a few of these to get started and stuff. So just my humble contributions to this forum. Embarrassed

I love complex characterization and the way they are being portrayed in a love story is often a pleasure to me. Since those are the stories with the raw romance in it's most natural form.Big smile

Yes, the way you put it, Rajeev is certainly a complex character and the way I put forth him is certainly an invitation to learn more about him!Thumbs Up
i love reading and watching the cliched scenes but if something like that happens in real i would end up laughing and thinking 'oh so corny' . That s the problem with movies and books they over hype romances Confused making us expect the violins ,falling and catching, the dupatta getting stuck LOL

@Vibz - That is so true! Movies certainly make you expect the best! Then you stumble back to Earth with a thump! Angry

To me, that is why heartbreak seems harder to get over. When a teenager go through a heartbreak, they tend to think something went wrong with them because it didn't go "like the movie".

LOL! Silent is my style indeed. I like and go on. LOL

This was a really interesting piece. The description used was very good, I could feel her nervousness and anticipation. When it turned out to be only fantasy, I could see her speaking to herself as she tried to prove that just that one hour per month would be good enough for her. However, the way she said suggested it said so much more. Great use of dialogue in that particular section. Thumbs UpHug

Ey buddhiStern Smile No fear. Write and it will get better with each increase of practice, and your confidence will increase as well. In the meantime I'll be hating your monkeysTongue

We all know that love doesn't quite work out that way. She'll be left wanting more of him, and perhaps may only receive heartbreak in the end.

Not fair dudette! I never saw myself wanting a movie romance. Have you seen those things? In Titanic, Jack dies and Rose lives on. In the Time Traveller's Wife, he died. In the Notebook, they died together, but she didn't even recognise him because of her Alzheimer's/ Dementia. And don't even get me started on Devdas. No movie romance for me at all.LOL
