Wow!! I must say, that was very insightful! This post definitely made more sense and it helped me figure out Asad's personality more deeply thru Islamic view!! I am not sure if i absolutely agree with Asad's disapproval for Najma wearing jeans.. but I do see where your pov came from. 

I agree everything should not be related back to religion

It is quite expected not agree with my point of view regarding Asad's decision for his sister.
All I wanted through this thread was to state the possible reasons (in my eyes) behind the controversial dialogue of Asad..
I'm so glad that you could understand the hidden motive of this thread.
I'm very happy to see here and motivating me with such a lovely feedback.
Instead of using the typical Indian man's mentality, I focused more on Islamic point of view only because western dresses have been a debatable issue in relation to Muslims.I simply wished people to know what Muslim culture says about modern clothes and how and why Asad could have denied his sister so straight forward owing to his 'Tahzeeb'.
I'm really grateful to you for this warm encouragement.

I know but when it comes to Asad aka KSG I don't know how to stop typing..
I really had to write everything in a crystal clear format to avoid many queries related to Asad's character.
