Heylo guys! The very first OS that anyone has ever written on AsYa! :D Enjoy reading :)

P.S - It has two parts! Second will be posted later!

It has been 6 months since I was married to Asad Ahmed

Khan. 6 months since my life changed forever. 6 months since I changed. 6

months since I saw Zoya Siddique last. Now I am Zoya Asad Ahmed Khan. Wife of

one of the most influential businessmen in Bhopal. And also the wife of one of

the most unaffected men in the world.

I didn't know that people as harsh as him even exist in

real life. He was so different, so..so scary! And Allah knows that I have never

seen him smile because maybe even Allah himself hasn't seen him smiling. My

mother-in-law and sister-in-law are my angels in disguise. Dilshaad mom gives

me the love that I never got from a mother. Najma on the other hand reminds me

so much Aapi, the way she calls me Zo bhabhi! I wish Aapi was here though. I

miss her and jiju a lot.

Its because of Dilshaad mom and Najma that I'm still

here. They say I can change him. How can I change someone who doesn't even look

at me? Forget appreciating my presence! They say I was the miracle they were

waiting for. Really? Because apart from my life changing drastically, there's

no other miracle I ever saw in these 6 months!

"Zoya! Come down I made kheer for you, beta!" I heard

Dilshaad mom calling me. Wondering why I call her 'Dilshaad mom'? That's

because I have another mom! Yeah, I guess I got too lucky! Shireen mom was the

other mom whom I was forced to call Ammi'

"I'll be right there Mom!" I quickly broke my chain of

thoughts and rushed down the stairs.

"Oh you're here! I've made kheer-puri for you..come

sit!"

I took a bite gracefully and admired her for her

beautiful cooking skills like always.

"Wow Ammi! This is amazing! I love you!" I pulled her

into a rib-crashing hug.

"And what about my son? Don't you love him?" The smile

vanished almost instantly and I broke out of the hug.

"What is happening with the two of you Zoya? I thought

you were going to change him?"

"Mom I'I mean Asad'I'I don't know what to do!"

"Is this the same Zoya who had promised me that she

would give me my smiling son back 6 months ago?"

"A lot has changed mom'I can't change him. He doesn't

even look at me! He only nods in a yes or no when I ask him something. I have

never heard him communicating with me! It kills me Mom!" Finally my tears gave

way and Mom grabbed me tightly.

"Have faith in Allah, baccha. He will change. Tell him

you love him."

"Whenever I look in to his eyes'there's only

negativity, only sadness. How do I say something so beautiful and pure to a man

who would never understand the meaning of it?"

"You shouldn't say that beta. I promise, if he doesn't

change in a week's time, I myself will send you back to New York. I promise."

"Should I arrange for dinner? What would you like to

have?" My wife asked me like every other

day while I just focused on the laptop screen and nodded in a no.

I could see her face fall from the corner of my eyes.

But there wasn't much I could do about it. I was horrible when it came to

communicating through words. I expected her to leave the room and return when I

fell asleep like always. But she

entered the room and closed the door, shutting it with the latch.

"Asad'we need to talk." As soon as I heard those words

I gulped. But my fingers didn't stop working on the buttons as I typed

furiously now.

"Asad I'm'I'm talking to you!" I heard her a little

louder now and I ignored her again.

"Asad?!" A little more louder.

"Allah Miyan, what's wrong with you Asad!" And this

time I couldn't hold my laughter back. She was one of a kind. With her favorite

dialogue that I hear almost everyday a thousand times, I couldn't help

but smile. But she never said it to me. Obviously, we never spoke!

I just burst out laughing like a maniac who was

probably just released from the Mental Hospital while she stared at me

dumb-founded.

After a while my laughter subsided and I looked at her

and her wide eyes. Was she angry or happy?

"How dare you! Urrgghhh!" Saying that she bounced

towards me as I kept my laptop aside and ran for my life while she chased me

with a flower vase in her hand.

After running a lot she accidently tripped over the rug

on the floor and landed on me as we fell backwards on the bed with me over her.

I looked into her eyes directly for the first time in

these six months. There was peace and wait. Suddenly I was left bewildered, was I really making her wait so much?

I couldn't hold back any longer and dipped my head

below to meet her lips. And the rest was heaven. I was new to this, I didn't

know about her though. Our eyes drifted shut and I felt her hand in my hair as

she tried to divulge me further. And it worked! It worked wonders! As we pulled

out of the kiss totally out of breath, I saw her slightly red face. Is that a blush?

She looked gorgeous!!

It's been 2 days. And it's never been worse. After that

late night kiss we shared, he stopped the little nodding he used to do too!

Obviously he would stop because even she had stopped talking to him! 'Allah Miyan' She thought. What was she

going to do with this man? Suddenly her phone buzzed. She say Ayaan flashing.

"Hello!"

"Hey beautiful! What's up?"

"Ayaan I'm your bhabhi now! Don't call me that!"

"Oh shut up! Just take the credit, will you?"

"Whatever. Why are you calling me at 9 in the morning?"

"Ummm'Ammi and Abbu want Bhaijaan and you to come over for

lunch today."

"What?! You know Asad would never agree!"

"I don't give a flying fu-"

"Ayaan!!!"

"Okay sorry. No bad words in front of Bhabhijaan! But

you'll have to come alright! No excuses!"

"But Ayaan..how do I convince Asad?"

"That's not my business! And I gotta go, Humera is

looking for me! Buh-bye!"

"Bye!"

As she put the phone down she realized that she would

have to talk to Asad again now. Would the same thing happen what happened last

time? Or maybe he wouldn't look at me at all! But I have to talk to him,

otherwise Ammi and Abbu'Urrgghhh! Life's

a bitch!

She turned around and saw the door unlocking. Asad was

back home from his morning walk.

She turned to look at him and decided to talk to him. Only TALK.

"Hey!" Zoya beemed.

my God! Don't open that mouth of yours, girl! We both know what we end up
doing!

"Hi." He said softly.

Zoya blinked and stared at him with her mouth wide

open. Did he just say hi to me?!

"Actually'.Ayaan called."

"Yeah he called me too. I happened to miss the call

though, what did he say?"

"Ummm'Ammi and Abbu have invited us for lunch today."

She watched his face turn into a rigid stone. He

stopped reading the newspaper and looked up at her with anger in his eyes. Zoya

gulped. She had never seen him so angry! Wait'was

he'? OMG! Is he crying? She wondered

as she noticed his eyes getting misty. But it wasn't the emotional tear-up! He

was going mad with rage.

"Asad'-"

Her words were left incomplete as he threw the

newspaper across the room and ran his fingers through his hair.

"You know what? I'm gonna end all of this bullshit

today! All the drama and fake concern ends today! It has got to stop!"

"Asad he's your fath-"

"Don't! Don't even dare to say that word! He's no one

to me."

"Look I know your upset'just talk to me!"

With two huge steps he approached her and banged her

against the wall. Gripping her shoulders in his fists while she winced.

"Don't tell me what to do! I had to bear your non sense

for 6 months, your voice, your smell, your sight, everything infuriates me! I

married you only because Ammi wanted me to settle down! I don't know what you

want from me or what you deserve! All I know is that you and me can never happen!"

With that he jerked her out of his arms, ignored her

tears and sore arms and walked outside the room. Leaving a broken Zoya behind'
