Krishna: Babu ab tak ne aye?.. he thought it had been 3
hrs since he had gotten home and
Pratigya wasn' home nor was she answering her phone, he couldn't eat dinner
without knowing where she was. Kesar was looking after his daughter in their
room whilsts waiting for Pratigya.
Shakti:
eh Baba ka bhava? Said his brother sitting right across him. Krishna
looked up
Krishna: Kuch ne tumo khanna kavo. He didn't bother
telling Shakti he knows he will not understand and make her absence something
else. Shakti couldn't be bothered and left his brother to his thoughts. Amma came to the table and noticed her younger
son not eating his dinner.
Samar: Chachu maa kaha hai?
Krishna: Abhi aajayege tumo khana kao. Amma came by to
give more roti.
Amma:
eh baba tum khanna kao, aur Partigya kaha hai, just then Krishna's
phone rang. He got up before answering
it.
Krishna: Aree babu tum kaha par ho yaar, pata hai kitne
baje?
Pratigya:
Krishna humari gaadi raaste mein kharab hoge
esliye der hogaye aur..
Krishna: kono baat ne babu humo abhi poach re hai tumo
tensionavo maat, kaha par ho?
Pratigya:
woh raasta court ke peeche wali, jaldi ana Krishna.
Krishna: Abhi nikal te hai babu. Then he hung up. Ghantilal was sitting on the sofa observing
her grandson's face.
Ghantilala: Baba khanna thanda hojaye, tumo kaha jare ho?
She asked as she saw him heading towards the front door.
Krishna: Ghantilal humo babu ko lene jare, abhi ate hai,
bhaujaye ko batado humri gudiya ka khayal rakhe humo bas abhi ate hai.
Amma:
Aree baba said Amma but Krishna was out of the
house like the speed of light.
Amma:
Kaha jara hai? She asked to Ghantilal.
Ghantilal,
bolra tha partigya ko lene. They exchanged confused looks.

SS:
Sab rasam tod re hai ee kisnabahu, humne mana kiya tha baba ko ke kisnabahu ko
baar jane ki kono zaroorat nena, lekhen oo saala apne meraroor ke palu mein
chipka rete hai behooda. He sighed. Then got up from the table and went over to
women of the house.
SS:
Thakuraniya, chodo ee sab, suno kal babuwa ka bitya ka naam karan hai aur
professior ke parivaar sab ayenge aur humo gurumaa ko bhi bulaya hai, lekhen
kisnabahu ko kene ki kono zaroraat ne hai, samjho ki ne?

COURT ROAD
Pratigya
looked at her watch it had been half an hour since she had rang Krishna and it was already dark outside. She tried to
start the car again, but it was no use a few minutes later she saw a siloutte
on a motor cyle, she could make out it was Krishna, she was relieved when she
saw him park up as it was dark and many strange people had walked passed her
car giving her a weird look luckily no one tried to make conversation. She opened the car door and came out of the
car she was happy to see her husband, he came towards her.
Pratigya:
Krishna tum. She managed to hold his hand,
glad to see him she wanted to express how glad she was by giving him a hug but Krishna
was so focused on getting the car fixed, he brushed her off unknowingly.
Krishna: Ne babu tumo gaadi mein raho, humo dhekhte hai
ke ka bhava, tumo thak gaye hogi,
Pratigya:
Aree.
Krishna: Ne babu
wapas gaadi humo chalenge, tum phikar maat karo. he opened the car door to the
passenger's side and sat her down, shut the door, then opended the car bonnet.
Pratigya:
theek hai. She said to herself, she observed him as he was fixing the car he
had the expression of seriousness mixed with confusion at the same time, she
found him cute when he was like that, a smile adorned her face as she looked at
mr handle man at work. Fiftee minutes had passed and Krishna
was still fixing the car, Pratigya was losing her patience, twice she tried to
get his attention but he waved her off that he was busy. Finally she came out
of the car, Krishna's head was still in the
car bonnet.
Krishna: Accha aur ee yaha.. ab hogava, he smiled at the
satifaction of fixing the car, Just as he was finishing off he felt nice
soft hands wrap around his waist, and resting
on his tummy.
Krishna: Babu?
Pratigya:
Hmm?
Krishina:
Tumo ee ka karbo?, tumo humka ese chu ti ho to humka shareer mein garami ajati
hai. Pratigya smiled at his answer.
Pratigya:
Accha she whispered, then arched her head and nuzzled his nape and then kissed
him.
Pratigya: Ab kya hota hai? She whispered.
Krishna: Babu. Babu, yaha kono dheklega.
Pratigya:
sunsaan jagya hai, koi nai ayega.
Krishna: Eko kaam karte hai, gaadi mein chalo.
Pratigya:
haa, they let go off each other, and made their way into the car and shut the
door, then shared a eye lock.
Krishna: Ek minute hum gaadi check karte hai. Pratigya
nodded in agreement.
Krishna put the key in the car ignition.
Krishna: Shabash beta. They both smiled relieved that
they had a lift home now. Then Krishna took
the key out, and looked over at his babu. He put his hand on hers.
Krishna: Babu chalo long drive par chalte hai.
Pratigya:
Abhi Krishna?
Krishna: Haan kyu ne?
Pratigya:
Aaj nai Krishna
Krishna: Kyu ne?
Pratgiya:
Aree Krishna aath baje ne wale hai aur ghar wale sab pata haina kese hai, tumri
laadi ko dodh bhi pelana hai, kal ki tayri bhi karni hai,hum koi aur waqt
chalenge.
Krishna: Tum bhi na babu, waha bahar humka chu ke, tumri
nazdik bulre the, aur yaha sherni bili ban gaye?, hum bahar he acche the..
Pratigya just smiled shly looking down..
Krishna thought had they just stayed outside then
Pratigya would still be in a romantic mood now she is all in serious mode
again.
Krishna: Kono baat ne, hum humra badla le kar he rahenge.
He shot her a naughty look.
Pratigya:
Theek hai thakur saab hume manzoor hai, ab chale?
Krishna: Hmm aur kar bhi ka sakte. She felt bad but in a funny way she held his
hand as they drove off the road.
Within
1hr 45 mins later they reached tn, Krishna parked the car, they both came out of it and
walked towards the haveli.
Pratigya:
Aree Krisha tumhari bike to waha par regaye.
Krishna: Kono baat ne hum abhi chandwa ko kete hai woh le
ayege subha.
Pratigya:
theek hai.
They
both entered tn, Sajjan, amma and ghantilal were sitting there discussing.
SS:
Kal aree hai guruma, sab tyare acche se karbo thakurainya. Pratigya didn't look
impress upon hearing that.
SS:
Eh baba tumo khana kao bina chalbo, aur kisnababu ka par thi pura din nikal
gaye humri poti akele ghar par aur tumri
biwi ghum re thi?! Pratigya and Krishna looked
at each other and then back at SS.
Pratigya:
Gurumaa are hai?
SS:
Haa, woh sab chodo pehle ee baato tum pura din kaha thi kisnabahu?
Krishna: Ka bauji,court par thi, aur phir gaadi kharab
hogaye to hum lene gaye bas.
Pratigya:
Maaf karna bauji lekhen hum nai chahte ke gurumaa humari bacchii ka naam karan
mein shamil ho!
SS:
baba, baba samjao apne mehraroor ko!.. Pratigya didn't meet his eyes she looked
down.
SS:
bado ke saath zaban lada rahi hai ee!
Krishna: To isme galat ka bolre hai. SS shot Krishna a stern look.
Pratigya:
Hum apka apmaan nahi kare hai bauji, apki haar baat sunte aye hai, Samar ke sagi ma to nai hai tab ap ne bahut sunaya hume,
lekhen humri beti ki baat ati hai to bauji hume jo galat lagta hai use virrudh hum
bolenge.
SS
was furious at Pratigya, before he could say anything, Kesar came into the hall
with a crying gudiya in her arms.
Kesar:
Partigya jaldi avo tumri betiyaa ka bahute bhookh lagi hai.
Krishna: Babu tumo gudiya ka doodh pila do humo kuch
karte hai. She nodded to Krishna then left from the area.
Pratigya
took her baby in her arms.
Pratigya:
ne ne beta, dekho mummy agaye, na abhi jaldi doo doo dete hai she said as she
carried her to their room.
Amma: ee sab
baad mein baat karlo, abhi baba ne kuch khaya nahi.
SS:
Ee thankurainya, beech mein maat pado, baba ko samjado kisnabahu ke mann mani
nahi chalnedenge hum beta! nai chalnedenge.
Krishna: Theek hai
to humri baat be suno hum bhi ne chahe ke gurumaa aye, ka karbo?
SS:
Aree baba ka bolre tum, gurumaa ne kya kya nai kiya ess parivaar ke liye, sab
ke naam karan mein aye thi, apan shakti, komaliya aur tumra.
Krishna: Hum ne chahte hai bas, aur kya accha kiya
gurumaa ne?, partigya ko kitni thakhalif jal ne padi bacchii ke liye, oo guruji
ayethe ka bol ke gaye tumo bhool gaye? Bol kar gaye ke humri kono santan ne
hogi, aur humri betiyaa to ahe gai, , sab andvishwas hai aur kuch ne, aur hum
nai chahte ke humri laadi ke saath kuch bura hojaye, eeliye tumo gurumaa ko
mana karbo bas.
SS:
Ka bolre abe, tumri betiyaa humka kuch nai lagti?
Krishna:
Poti hai,aur tum unke zindagi mein shamil ho sirf Partigya ke waja se, tumo to
sab bhool gay ke ka dhajya udai thi humri biwi
ka court mein, lekhen Pratigya ne tumka maaf kardiya eeliye hum eeya
hai, nai kiya tha to humo yaha se kab tak bahut dor chale jati aur tumri potti
ka mu tak nai dikha te.
Ghantilal:
Baba, ese bolra hai tum apan baap ke saath!
SS:
Theek to bolra hai baba, hume kisnabahu ke saath galat kiya tha, aur baba humka
ee baat kabhi bholne ne denge.
Amma:
Kal accha din hai, tum sab jagarna chod do, suno Pratigya nai chate to gurumaa
ko mana kardo.
SS:
Ka bakwas bol re jare behoodi.
Krishna: Dekho esa hai, khushi khushi rehena hai to sab
ki baat sune padegi. SS exchanged a glance with his wife, after a few minutes
he opened his mouth.
SS:
Theek hai kal gurumaa naam karan ke liye nai ayegi, phir bhi beta ee ghar ke
malik hum hai aur gurumaa humre dwaar par ane ki ijaazat hume kisi ni nai
chaiye, kal ke liye bas nai ayege.
SS
walked off took the phone and sat back down. Krishna
was relieved, atleast gurumaa will not be coming and him and Pratigya can have
a peaceful naming ceremony without view clash.
Amma:
Chalo baba khanna lagate hai tumra.
Krishna: Hum Partigya ko dekh ke ate.
Kesar:
Baba tumo khalo Partigya bachi ka doodh pelare hai aur unka khanna humne Pesiya
ke saath bejwa diya, tumo khalo phir unke pas jao.
Krishna:
Accha khale te hai, Krishna sat down to eat
but he wanted to tell Pratigya gurumaa isn't coming so she doesn't worry about
it.
Pratigya
finished eating her dinner, then attended to gudiya again who was hungry for
more milk. Pratigya took her and placed her on her lap and began feeding her.
TN HALL
Amma: accha baba ee batao tumri gaadi theek
hogaye?
Krishna: Haa amma, humo fix kar ke aye, aur ha bhool gaye
abhi chandwa ka phone karna hai,humri phat phatya to waha he re gai. he took
his phone out of his pocket and dialled his number.
Amma:
Accha baba.
Ghantilal:
Sarjanbahu kal ke liye sab tyari hogava, kuch re ne gaya?
Amma
went over to ghantilal and they spoke about what preparations were done and
what had to be done, shortly Pesiya and Kesar joined them.
KRIYA ROOM
Pratigya:
Sorry beta aaj mummy ko der ho gaye aur humrari gudiya ko zor se bhookh lagi
thi naa? She kissed her on the forehead.
"Ab peht bhar gaya?
to ab nini nai karne hai?" hmm? She smiled at her baby. Aur kal pata hai kya
hai, tumhara naam karan, haa aur kal sab tumko milne ayenge, papa, komal bua,
Arushi masi, dadi sab log, kyunki sab tumko bahut pyar karte hai. The baby made an expression like she understood
Pratigya smiled at her
daughter's cutie expressions, then kissed her cheek.
Krishna: Ee ka chalra hai maa beti ke beech humo bhi
dekhte hai. Pratigya smiled when she saw
Krishna.
Pratigya:
Tumne khanna khaya?
Krishna: Haa khaya, aur babu tumo gurumaa ki ane ki
chinta chodo, woh abhi ne are hai aur. A knock came at the door.
Krishna went to open it,
Krishna: Amma
kucho bhava?
Amma:
Nai baba, hum Partigya ko mile ne aye. As Pratigya heard she got up from the bed with gudiya in her arms.
Pratigya:
Amma sab kuch theek hai? bahar kyu ho avo na andar.
Amma:
Haa theek hai, bas hum tumko yeh dene aye, tumri liye kapde aur humri potti ke
liye bhi, she placed it on the bed.
Pratigya:
Krishna ese lo. Pratigya sat down on the bed
with Amma and looked through the clothes.
Pratigya:
Aree yeh kitna pyara hai. She smiled picking up alittle red outfit.
Amma:
Haa komaliya ka hai, hum chahte hai ke esi kal humri potti pene.
Pratigya:
Haa kyu nai, dekho Krisha yeh kitna pyara hai. She showed him.
Krishna: Bahut accha hai amma, kal isme gajhab lagegi
humri laadli.
Amma:
'Haa' amma smiled, 'Aur bahuriya yeh tumri liye'. Pratigya looked at it.
Amma:
Kal tum ese pehno gi, yeh na baba ke naam karan mein hume pehna tha.
Pratigya:
Bahut sundoor hai, aur bhari bhi, Pratigya looked at the outfit in detail.
Krishna: Babu tumo ee pehno gi to thakuraiyan lago gi.
Amma and Pratigya exchanged smiles.
Pratigya:
Accha hum kal pehnege.
Amma:
Aur yeh zevar bhi eske saath lo. Pratigya took it from her and placed it on one
side of the bed. Accha ab tum duno jalde
se sojao, kal jaldi uthna hai. She walked over to Krishna
and he gave her gudiya.
Amma:
Haa jaldi uthna hai kyuki kal tumra naam karan hai.. ha aur tumri sundar sundar
kapde pena hai. Gudiya smiled and in her happiness her parents smiled, Pratigya
and Krishna exchanged a smile at each other.
Amma:
Accha ab hum sone jare, aur tumo tumri amma & bauji ko sone do. She said to
her granddaughter then kissed her and gave her back to Pratigya.
Pratigya:
Accha amma severe milte hai.
Krishna: bauji theek hai na ee sab.
Amma:
Haa tum chinta ne karo baba. she smiled and left their room Krishna shut the door.
He turned around and saw Pratigya admiring their baby she looked up from her daughter to her husband
and met his eyes.
Pratigya:
Aao Krishna thodi der hum humari pyari se duniya ke saath waqt betate hai.
Krishna: Haa babu, Krisha came and sat next to her and
she learned her head on his shoulder.
Pratigya:
Dekho kitni pyari hai humari pyar ki nishani
Krishna: Humri choti Pratigya, ee to jagre hai.
Pratigya:
Haa nend nai are, Accha Krishna gurumaa ke baat bauji sach mein theek hai?
Krishna:
Haa babu, humne samjha diya ke tumri baat bhi maine rakhte hai aur phir samaj mein agava
ke hum aur tum ne chahte ke gurumaa aye.
Pratigya:
Thank you Krishna
Krishna:
Aree babu tumo ke liye humo kuch bhi karsakte hai, aur humka bhi ne chaiye ke
gurumaa aye, ee sab bhavala mein ne pad na chahte okre saath, she looked up and
smiled at her husband, Pratigya shut her eyes in delight as she felt his lips
upon her temple, Krishna can be so affectionate it was a great feeling to feel
number on his list , always put first, cared for loved, Krishna was
everything one would want in a companion.
Pratigya:
dekho ise nend are hai, abhi sojayegi.
She leaned her head more on Krishna and
relaxed. Krishna felt happy at this present
moment he had his babu in his arms and their beautiful baby life couldn't any
better and tomorrow the whole family were going to celebrate her name ceremony.
