Part 8

It was 2: 15pm Krishna and Pratigya  had just packed their things up as their baby was going home today. Pratigya was sitting on the bed and putting a hat on the baby's head. Baby cried..

Pratigy: Aree nai,nai.. bas hogaya abhi, hogaya. she picked up the baby and began to gently rock her on her shoulder,to make her calm by gently patting her back.

Then her eyes went to her husband.

 Pratigya: Krishna yeh sab tum pakad pao ge.. she looked at Krishna who had both thier bags, and a baby bag.

Krishna: Haa, babu kono dhikat nai hai humo bilkul phit phat hai.

Pratigya: Accha theek hai she got up with the baby she was still a bit restless.

Krishna: ee ka,ka hogava? Sab kuch theek haina?

Pratigya: Pata nai mujhe lagda hai bas use neend aree hai.. bas abhi sojayegi. She said then paced around the room so gudiya goes to sleep.

Krishna: Aur babu tum.. he put the bags down and went to them, tumo thek ho,kal raat ko tumo theek ne thi ka bhava? he said in a low tone the baby fell asleep.

Pratigya: Hum theek hai.. tum hamare saath ho to sab kuch theek hai. She smiled at him.

Krishna: Tum aur humri betiyaa,humari choti duniya hume aur kuch chahe ne, sirf hum ek chumi eeka de sakte hai..

Pratigya: Krishna tumhare beti hai tum use chumi,   kuch bhi tum jab chahte ho kar sakte ho,tum inke papa ho.

Krishna: bahut accha bole.. he slowly removed the baby's hat.

Pratigya: dhere se, varna woh jag jaye gi.

Krishna: Haa babu.. he saw his angel asleep, then placed a kiss on her head. Seeing this Pratigya placed a kiss on his cheek.

Krishna: Aree wah babu ee ka tha?

Pratigya: Kyu? humare pati ho hum jo chahe hum kar sakte hai.

Krishna put the hat on the baby quickly luckily she was in deep sleep so he didn't wake her. Then turned his attention to Pratigya.

Krishna: to ee baat hai.. Krishna moved his face closer to her.. Pratigya put her finger on his lips.

Pratigya: Nai nai thakur saab ab tum baap bangaye ho aur baachi sore hai.

Krishna: haan tumo thhek kare ho. Use disturb ne hone chaiye, aaj hum bahute hai khush hai babu hum humri babu aur choti pratigya ko ghar le kar jare aur..aree haa babu tumo uu arut ka card kuch dene chate diyo unka? Pratgiya almost forgot about that she was busy listening to her husband's words that made her distracted.

Pratigya: Haa Krishna thank you tumne hume yaad dilaya. Hum abhi de kar ate hai, tum ese lo.. Krishna took the baby.

Pratigya: Abhi ate hai.

Krishna: Haa babu jaldi karo, phir humo nikel te hai eeya se.

Pratigya: Haan Krishna paanch minute mein ate hai. Pratgiya went quickly down the corridor and into the that area she was at, she couldn't help but feel a bit restless.

Nurse: Ap kisko dhund re ho? She saw Pratigya wondering around the corridors

Pratigya: Um Prena ko kaha hai woh?

Nurse: Woh to subha chale gaye.

Pratigya: chale gaye?

Nurse: Haan kyu?

Pratigya: Nai bas mera card use dena tha.

Nurse: Woh check up ke liye ayege tab mein use de sakta hoon.

Pratigya: Haa theek hai lo.  Pratigya walked away she felt relieved that Prena wasn't there because something about her was linked to her dream, but Prena was long gone and so was Pratigy'a tension she felt better now but she didn't know why. Pratigya walked back in the room Krishna stood their with the baby.

Kishna: Accha babu tum diyo.. ab hum nikelte hai bauji ka phone aya pooche rethe humka par hai.

Pratigya: Haa Krishna chalo tum car seat le avo hum ese lete hai. Pratigya took their daughter and Krishna took the car seat adjusted it a little.

Krishna:  Eee hogava, Pratigya laid the baby in the car seat.  Tum ese utha sakogi ka thoda vajan hai, aur tum kamzoor ho,kono baat ne hum utha lete hai.

He said and he picked up the handle of the seat, along with 2 bags on his back.

Pratigy: Ruko Krishna, yeh bag hum uthalungi, tum baachi ko sambhal na.. bag mein bas kapade hai aur esa kuch bhari cheez nahi. Esliye theek hai.

Krishna: Theek hai babu..baaki tumo kuch accha ne lage humka baata dena.

Pratigya: Haa Krishna.. they both walked out of the room and out of the hospital. They went towards their new car. Krishna opened the back door and put the seat down and fastened the belt, Pratigya stood close by.

Krishna: Accha ee hogava, babu hume ee bag dedo hum rakh dete hai.

Pratigya: Yeh lo she gave him the bags and he opened the boot and put them in then shut it.  

Pratigya: Kitni sukun see sore hai humare baachi.. she said looking out of the window where she could see her little face. Krishna stood next to her.

Krishna: Bahut he pyare lagre ho humri rajkumari, he shared a mutual smile with his wife.

Krishna : Aur inka naam tumo bahut acche soche ho sab ko pasand ayega.

Pratigya: hum dono ne pasand kiya, accha hai lekhen abhi kisi ko nai batayenge.

Krishna: haan su-prise.. accha avo babu. He opened the car door for her and lead her in then shut it.

Then he himself opened the door and sat in the drivers seat. Pratigya turned her head and saw her angel asleep .

Krishna started the car.

Pratigya: Ek minute ruko Krishna..

Krishna: Babu ka bhava?

Pratigya: gaadi ka lock kholo.. Krishna did as she told him and opended it. Pratigya alarmed got out, Krishna just looked in confusion.. she opened the back door and took the baby out of the car seat, and held her. Then came and sat back in the passenger seat.

Krishna: Eee babu ka kare ho yaar?

Pratigya: Bas hum apne beti ko bas kareeb rakhna chahte hai..hamri nasdeek. She held the baby to her chest and she stirred alittle and buried her face in mother's neck.Pratigya could feel the heat of her breathing, and her little hand cling on to her shoulder. It was sheer heaven. She smiled to herself Krishna observed her.

Krishna:ek baat ke babu? She turned her face to him.

tumo maa ka roop mein bahute hi zyada khoobsurat legre ho. She smiled at him.

Pratigya: Aur tum papa ke roop mein bahuti' the phone interrupted.

Krishna: Bauji hai, abhi utha te hai.

Krishna: Haa bauji .humo are hai.. accha theek hai.. rakte hai phone.

Krishna: uu sab interzaar kare hai chalbo?.. Pratigya nodded in agreement.

Krishna drove off, they had been drving for the past 5 minutes.  

Krishna: Eee babu tumo bacche ko goudi mein le aye to hume ee baby s-eeat kono zaroorat hai ka?

Pratigya: Haan hai Krishna, hum gaadi chalake kahin jana chate hai aur gudiya ko saath le kar.. to baby seat istemaal karsakte hai..

Krishna: Haa babu sahi bole, lekhen hum tum dono ke saath honge na.

Pratigya: Haa lekhen tum restraunt jao ge tab tum har waqt hamari saath thode re sakte ho..

Krishna: Accha? Ne re sakte hai babu? .. he said confused more over has gotten attached to his family he didn't have the heart to leave them.  

Pratigya: Krishna tum to malik ho..

Krishna: Sahi baat bole humo malik hai abhi chandva aur tunna bhi agai ee sab sambhal re hai hum restraunt mein baar baar jane ki kono jharurat ne hai.

Pratigya: Aree Krishna.

Krishna: Eee bare mein baad mein batyalenge abhi humo ghar pahuch gaye. He parked the car.

He opened the door got out quickly and then opened her door she came out with gudiya still asleep. Krishna shut her door..

Pratigya: Krishna dheere se. baachi jag jaye gi.

Krishna: Ne uu to sukun se sore hai.. They walked towards tn.. Saajan singh sa w them

SS: Ee baba Ruko ruk he said excitedly. With a big smile on his. As he came out of the haveli with Amma not far behind.   

Krishna: Lekhen ab lagra hai ke ee uth jayegi..   he said to the Pratigya as he saw the band bajaa ready to play music.

SS: Bajao ! he said to the band.. Krishna came a little closer.

Krishna: Ne ne bauji .. Pratigya stopped him saying anything.. he looked at her and she shook her head indicating not to say anything just to let things be.

Krishna: Lekhen babu ee uth jayegi.. Krishna's voice got washed out by the band playing the same music of the snake dance Krishna did.  

Pratigya: Haa koi baat nai.. dekh amma bauji kitne khush hai..

Krishna: Haa ee to hai.. he smiled

Pratigya: Chalo she smiled and they walked together..

SS: Eee humri potti, bahuriya aur humar babua agaye he shouted excitedly.

They walked together with gudiya in Pratigya's arms fast asleep surpringly, Amma greeted them.

Amma: Eee baba tum dono eko minute ruko..Kesariya thali le kar aree hai.

Kesar: Ee lo amma.  Amma smiled happily as she did aarti to Krishna, Pratigy and gudiya. She looked at all three of them with cheerfulness.

Amma: Kono ki nazar na lage humri potti ko she warded evil eye off gudiya.

Amma: ab andar avo tum sab. They walked in together with ghantilal, pesiya and Samar in sight.

Ghantilal: Avo Partigya betho, ee Pesiya esi peeth ke peechhe takya rukho. Pesiya did that and Pratigya sat down on the sofa with gudiya in her arms. Krishna sat next to her. 

Krishna: Achi sajavat ki hai humri betiya ke liye he said looking around.

SS: Thakur sajan singh ki potti hai to.

Amma : to sajavat acche se ki hai sab na. Pratigya smiled at them.

Amma: tum sab baate karo hum khanna le ate hai, chal Pesiya.

Samar:  Maa hume apni choti behen ke saath khel na hai..

Pratigya: Haan aajao he went in Krishna's lap next to sat next to pratigya. lekhen beta abhi ye khel nai sakti.

Samar: Kyu mama?

Krishna: Abhi ee bahut chotti hai, thode bade hojaye ge tum tumo ee ke saath khel na theek hai. Samar nodded.

Krishna: ab humo ek puppy do. Samar kissed his mama's cheek.  Krishna smiled then Samar: Hum khel ne jare hai. He left Krishna's lap, Pratigya leaned her head on Krishna's shoulder.  

Krishna: aree ee to chala gava.. Krishna looked at his baby girl.  Sajjan Singh went to the newly parents  

SS: Eee baba hume do apni potti goud mein lena chate hai yaar he said like a little kid.

Krishna: Ne bauji abhi ee sore hai.

Pratigya: Theek hai Krishna (tut) lo bauji apni potti.

Amma: Khanna  tayaar hai.. Amma said as she walked in from the kitchen.

SS: Humri potti bilkul kisnabahu par gay ho.

Amma: Duno jaisi lagre hai ee komaliya ke bauji khanna tayar hai humri potti hume do hum eeko theek se dekhte hai . she smiled.

SS: haan, haa thakurainya ee lo bahut he pyare hai babu, kisnabahu she smiled at them. Pratigya and Krishna shared a smiled.

SS: baba tumo bhi khalo chalo..

Pratigya: Krishna tum bhi khalo.

Amma: Partigya tumo yehe betho hum tumra khanna le ate hai,tum aram se betho,Pesiya Partigya ke liye Daalaya lea.  

Everyone had their lunch and time just flew Pratigya and Krishna spent most of the time in the hall with the family, gudiya was being passed around all the family members they all want to hold and play with her.  

Krishna: Humar peht to bhar gava, he said finishing his gulab jamun. Amma has made a sweet dish to celebrate gudiya coming home but Pratigya hardly touched hers . Krishna got up and saw Pratigya had fallen asleep on the sofa.

Kesar: Eee ko neend aree hai Amma. She said looking at gudiya who had fallen asleep in her arms

Amma: Haa Kesariya, aur Partigya ee to sogaye, bahut thak gay hai bechari.

SS: Baba tumar mehraro sogay tumo eeka kamre mein le ke jao,humo sone jare hai chalo thakurainyan , aur kesariya  saktiya ko phone karo kaha mar gava sala phone kar sala ka.

Ghantilal:Hum bhi sone jare hai tumo sab soja baba.  Ghantilal, ss and Amma all left the hall to go to sleep.

Krishna tried to wake Pratigya up.. but failed she really tired.

Krishna: Eee to bahut ghere neend mein hai ab ka kare, aur baachi ka abhi doodh pelena hai..

Kesar: tum kno chinta ne karo baba, tum Partigya ko uthalo aur kamre mein lejavo, hum gudiya ko le kar ate hai.

Krishna: Haan theek hai, chalo baujaye. Krishna picked Pratigya up she naturally put her arms around his neck. Still asleep.

Krishna carried her and then laid her on the bed.  Kesar followed.

Shatki: Ee Kesariya.. she heard Shakti's voice.

Kear: Baba Samar ke papa agai hum chalte hai..

Krishna: Haa theek hai baujaye eeka hume dedo. Kesar gave the baby to Krishna and left the room.

Krishna: tumre matari to so gaye ab tumo doodh kaise pilayegi, hume uthana parega. He went to over to Pratigya with the baby..

Krishna: Babu.. babu, he kissed her cheek she stirred alittle.

Krishna: Babu, tumri betiyaa ka doodh chaiye.

Pratigya:hmm, haa Krishna abhi dete hai she sat up and then remembered she hadn't gotten changed into her maxi which is what she had started wearing in her early pregnancy so she decided to wear that at night rather than sari it was much comfortable.

Pratigya: Krishna ek minute tum esi pakado mein chane kar ke ati hoon, phir ese leti hoon.

Krishna: Haan babu theek hai, tumo arram se change kar avo, hum hai humri betuyaa ke saath he said and kissed the baby's cheek.

Pratigya:Mummy abhi change kar ke ati hai.. she kissed gudiya's cheek, then went into the bathroom to get changed.

Krishna: Babu tumo ruko hum are tume lene andar interzaar karbo.

Pratigya: theek hai Krishna tum jaldi ana.

Krishna: haa babu. He cuts the phone.   Pratigya puts her phone away.

Prena: Pratigyaji apka card mujhe mila. Pratigya turns around.
