Harshad - My World

Mine is a small world of loneliness,

But your presence gives me happiness,

A world devoid of noise and colour,

And still your fragrance gives it vigour.

I love the way I see you beside me,

Making everything beautiful that I see,

I realise you are there even when you are not,

And find such lasting peace in that thought.

My world may not have the light of love,

But my love for you has lit it up somehow.

Wherever I look, I see your face,

Your charming presence, your endearing grace.

I live like a solitary soul, in a world of my own,

And still you inhabit it never leaving me alone.

Whenever I feel the world has lost its charm,

You with convincing assurance hold my arm.
