Ahmedabad's star-powered garba for nine nights

As Amdavadis gear up to brace Navratri full steam from Tuesday, organisers too are busy trying to make the revelers enjoy a great show this year. With most tele-stars making a beeline to the city during the nine nights of extravaganza, organisers are leaving no stone unturned to devise innovative ways to pull crowd.

Every night will be a different celebrity night for nine nights at Dholida 2012, held at the Piyush Palace with tele stars like Gunjan Walia aka Lakshmi from Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, Leena Jumani aka Paridi from Punar Vivaah, Gargi Sharma aka Mandira of Hitler Didi, Big Boss fame Sara Khan, Ada Khan from Amrut Manthan, Nidhi Uttam aka Nandini from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Aakruti Maan who is Miss Delhi, film actor Ramana Madhawan and Pooja Mishra of Big Boss 5 fame.

Moreover, the venue will also ensure it's a high profile show for all. Organiser Kunal Amin (Saini Production) said that the passes include not only entry, but food and dance too with the celebrities.A 'Maha Aarti' will also be conducted on all nights with the celebrities at 11.30pm.

With programmes slated for 3 nights — October 20, 21 and 22 — Rangeelo Garba 2012 will add to the glamour quotient at Prasang Party Plot at SG Highway with the presence of cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma, along with Hina Khan aka Akshara from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, actresses Sara Khan and Priya Shinde.

Organiser Paray Gami boasted that the ground will get a revolving stage — the first of its kind in Navratri in the city. Besides LED screens, mouth-watering delicacies and quality orchestras are among the other things that revelers can look forward to in the venue. Gami also said that the LEDs which are usually put up as the backdrop of the stage, will be placed on a height of 14 feet above the stage this time.

While Jhankar 2012 at HL Commerce College will have Devang Patel on October 21, Rangat Garba 2012 will showcase performances using many colourful props and Navratna Navratri 2012 at Chokhi Dhani will witness celebrity presence on each of the nine nights. Needless to say, Navratri promises to be real fun with star powered nights.
