Has anyone read Aks by Umera? I heard they wanted to make a drama out of that

I haven't read it yet, since the chapters were scanned/posted on fb and stuff..I want it to come out in the form of a pdf or on kitaab ghar to be able to read it..

there is an English version too...you should read it

I know..I have even downloaded the English version over the summer..just haven't gotten a chance to actually read it. LOL

..but I've heard so much about it from so many people. What's the gist of the storyline?

Well basically this girl Umama is ahmadiyya...it's her story of how she converts to Islam

Salaar is a totally bigda hua ladka who is far away from religion... who just keeps trying to commit suicide to feel death

For some reason Umama had to marry Salaar (telephonic nikkah) ... so that she is not forced into getting married to her cousin

She had to do this because she wanted to marry a Muslim...she asks Salaar to divorce as per the deal but Salaar refuses to do so...after which they separate

Salaar goes abroad and due to some events in his life he starts loving Umama...he also becomes a true Muslim and then his search for Umama begins
