Kerosene Free-City

Earlier this year, Shiela Dikshit, Chief Minister of Delhi launched a campaign to make Delhi, India's first kerosene-free city. In order to do this, about 3 lakh LPG stoves and cylinders were donated for free to families who fell below poverty line. But today one realised that like most of government's good intentions, this one failed too.

Lallan had several cans of kerosene, Anjali had one handy in her bedroom. Who would have thought that people from the affluent Shantivan neighbourhood would have kerosene stashed away?! Rich people are weird.

And a pregnant woman had it in her room...😕

Yes, she used to be. But she also had her psychotic husband in her room then, far more dangerous than some liquid that can catch fire.
