Prateek Paridhi One Shot

Healing The Wounds

"Paridhi!" , Prateek kissed Pari's shoulder & hugged her from back , "Are you alright?"

"Ye--ss Prateek---Im--fine." , Paridhi stuttered.

"Is there anything you want to share?"

"Yes--I mean no--."

"What is it Paridhi?"

Pari hugged Prateek tight , "I want to tell you Prateek , I really really love you. Sorry for every pain I have given you. Im really sorry Prateek."

"Pari! Shhh..! I love you too. "

"Yash Bhaiya! Any news? Where is my Pari?"

"Prateek relax! We'll get her. Police is doing its best job."

"Mr Scindiya! Please come.'' , Inspector called.

"Chhotte ! Inspector is calling me. I'll keep updating you! You just take care."

"Yes Inspector sahab?"

"Yash Ji! We have discovered somebody . Its A young frail fair lady. Looks like Paridhi , as per your description. Some fishermen discovered the body , she was badly drenched & is in hospital now. She is very critical. Shall we go to the hospital?"

Yash nodded & followed him.

"Prateek bhaiya! Please eat something." , Aarti pleaded.

"Nahi Aarti bhabhi I cant."

Meanwhile Prateek's phone rang.

"Ji Yash Bhaiya--Any--"

"Yes ! Prateek! Immediately come to Newlife Hospital."

"Bhaiya?"

"You just come here." , Yash disconnected the phone.

"Bhabhi im going to hospital."

"I'll come along." , said Aarti.

Prateek held unconscious Pari's hand , "Why did you do this Pari? Why?". He kissed her hand & began crying.

Pari's mother caressed his hairs & wiped his tears , "Prateek. I need to tell you something."

She narrated the whole tragedy that shook Paridhi & made her repent every passing second. Prateek was taken aback .

"Mummy. This much of trust she should have on me. She is my wife. I do have the guts to forgive her."

"Prateek?" , said Pari's mother in shock.

"Mummy! You only said she was drunk , was not in her senses. How am I supposed to believe she cheated me? She can never cheat me. I feel so helpless now. I did see the guilt in her eyes. I could never read that." , Prateek began crying.

"Mr Prateek Scindiya! Your wife is gaining consciousness." , doctor came & said.

"Come mummy." , Prateek held her hand & ran to Pari's room.

Paridhi slowly slowly opened her eyes & saw Prateek weeping. He was crying but had a faint smile. Paridhi joined her hands. Prateek rushed to her & clutched her hands .

"How could you do this Pari?"

"I never meant to cheat---"

Prateek placed his hand on her lips & said , "How could you think you can leave me alone? How could you? I cant live a second without you! Don't you know?"

Paridhi sighed , "I have always loved you , I will always love you."

Prateek smiled , "I know! I love you Paridhi. Come lets go home! A new beginning awaits us."
