Dabangg 2: Salman, Sonakshi shoot for 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' to promote their film

A good marketing strategy has become the backbone of commercial success in Bollywood these days. This prompted Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha to shoot for their guest appearances in TV serial 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'.

The small screen has become the best medium to promote a film nowadays. All big stars are using TV to reach out to their fans. Salman and Sonakshi also used TV to promote their forthcoming film 'Dabangg 2'.

'Diya Aur Baati Hum' is one of the popular shows on TV. The serial features a girl who wants to become an IPS officer.

Probably meeting with Salman can work as an inspiration for Sandhya, the female protagonist of 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'.

Sonakshi Sinha, who plays Rajjo Pandey in 'Dabangg' franchise, also came to shoot for 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'.

Salman Khan's last film as the lead 'Ek Tha Tiger' was a super success at the box office. Once again he is leaving no stone unturned to promote 'Dabangg 2'.

So far, Sonakshi Sinha has given three Rs 100 crore club films. She will be hoping for another superhit in 'Dabangg 2'.

Sandhya (Deepika Singh) is struggling to become an IPS officer in the serial because of her family commitments. She is trying her best to balance her middle class values with her ambition.

Salman and Sonakshi were recently spotted on the sets of the reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma' also.

Apart from 'Joker', every film in which Sonakshi Sinha featured, has become a hit. Salman's presence in the film will only enhance the film's chances at the ticket window.

Directed by Arbaaz Khan, 'Dabangg 2' will be an extension of 'Dabangg'. This time, the film has Kareena Kapoor as an added attraction. She will be seen in the song 'Fevicol se'.

Sonu Sood had played the villain in 'Dabangg'. He will be replaced by Prakash Raj in 'Dabangg 2'.

Though Abhinav Kashyap, the director of 'Dabangg', will be missed but Arbaaz Khan would not like to miss a chance to excel as a director in 'Dabangg 2'.
