October 11 marks the day Television's greatest star was born, in 1965. He's crowned as the Amitabh of small screen and is the highest paid male actor of the industry.

His name is adequate to presume the serial would make its existence in top. He has been ruling television since more than a decade and the present isn't dissimilar.

A lot of actors came and went since the time he entered but nobody was able to come even close to his extreme location.

His journey has been inspiring and quite pioneering from "Rishabh Bajaj" to "KD Pathak". Yes I'm talking about Ronit Bose Roy, the man with his super addictive charismatic smile and peerless aura. He earned fame as Rishabh Bajaj and currently essays the role of Advocate KD Pathak.

A lot of you might be following the courtroom show "Adaalat". This show is one of the best examples of his star power. Our favourite and the coolest lawyer KD Pathak manages to pull out his usually innocent clients through the toughest circumstances.

When it comes to RR, Rishabh Bajaj can never be ignored. Yes the most successful NRI Businessman with dashing looks and undying emotions. Who doesn't remember the man! He entered as a hardnosed yet soft middle aged business tycoon. The craze people had for this character is unmatched yet. An interesting fact is people address KD as Mr. Bajaj!

RR has played variety of roles in these years and almost every character had a special fixation. Be it Rishabh Bajaj, Mihir Virani, Aparajit Deb, Kunal Veer Pratap Singh, Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi or the current dude KD Pathak it's RR's matchless performance that has made all the difference.

Ronit Bose Roy was born on 11 October, 1965 to Businessman Brothindranath and his wife Dolly Bose Roy. He spent his upbringing days in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He was attracted to the glamour and standard of living of bollywood stars even though he never acted. After he completed his studies his father handed a ticket to Mumbai to him and gave the address of filmmaker Subhash Ghai. RR stayed at the filmmaker's residence and he was like a father figure to him.

RR found a job as management trainee at Mumbai's Sea rock hotel. He did dishwashing and cleaning to waiting tables and bartending to have experience at different levels. His father passed away a year later and he left his job at the hotel in a short span. After that he joined Mr. Ghai's production house as an assistant director. He realized it would take many years to become a director, he moved into freelance editing and did some modeling works even.

During that lapse he got a break. Director Deepak Balraj offered him lead role in "Jaan tere naam". The 1992 movie was an immense hit having silver jubilee. RR managed to work with some of the big names of industry but none of them managed to duplicate the accomplishment of his initial one.

He decided to move on and started his security agency "Ace security and protection" which has provided security to some of bollywood's peak stars.

After 3 years, he received a call from Ekta's Balaji Telefilms office. They offered him a part in their new show "Kammal". Before this show got started, he was offered an 8 week cameo in "Kasautii Zindagii Kay".

He entered the soap as Rishabh Bajaj, in 2002. Extremely dashing and the most successful NRI Businessman, hardnosed yet courteous, these are apt to describe the most successful character. His sensation attracted many and as a result the response to him was tremendously affirmative. The production house decided to make him a stable character in the show and later on his pairing with the lead actress created a midpoint of consideration. The pairing is missed yet. Rishabh Bajaj made RR a household name and this led many more opportunities arrive.

Rishabh Bajaj's craze was on its peak and then he was offered another role, Mihir Virani. This character was played by two men earlier hence it was quite difficult to step into someone else's shoes but RR managed it all.

This wasn't just the end; he was offered yet another momentous character of Aparajit Deb in Zee's Kasam Se. He entered the show in April 2007 and his entrance witnessed a boost in the show's slipping ratings. His character had various shades in the four and half months. He won the award of "Best actor in negative role" for his great performance as Aparajit. He also played cameo roles in shows like Kayamat, Kavyanjali etc.

Apart from acting, RR showed his dancing skills by participating in realities. He took part in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in the year 2007. He was paired with choreographer Nicole and never got a score below 20. However, he was eliminated in the 9th round but that didn't make any difference as he had proved himself already.

He participated in yet another dance reality show in 2008, Ye hai Jalwa. This time his team made their approach to the finals along with Hussain and Rakhi. He was the second runner up.

RR has also played the character of great legendary warrior Bheeshma in Kahaani Humaaray Mahabharat Ki. He has been the judge of a dance reality "Aaja Mahi Vay" and has hosted a cookery show "Kitchen Champion".

In 2009, he played the lead role of Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi in Bandini. His performance was highly appreciated and this show was quite different from Ekta Kapoor's other shows. Bandini went off air in Jan 2011.

However, in the year 2010 he was offered the role of a defense lawyer KD Pathak in Sony's courtroom series Adaalat. KD is ruling hearts with his unique style and attitude since 20th November 2010. Adaalat turned bi-weekly in 2011 from "KD v/s KD".
