a) no successful actor or a "known" actor wants to be seen with a has been

b) also, the same reason, the khans and the "known" actors want new bimbettes= maximum attention and screen time on themselves.

and plus, who wants to make a comback with an actor/star more popular than themselves?

old face dont want to work with them and if film become hit than know hero will take all the credits . so its good have new one.
