This is the last update of the week. Next would be on Monday or Tuesday. I was going to post this on Monday, but I could'nt stop myself, thanks to your wonderful comments.

"Stay here Ri. Don't go anywhere. When we talk about your crush to Aditya, you should be here. He will be impressed", said Gauri for the 100th time.

A gruop of girls are standing in the assembly ground of a school. The object of their interest is a group of boys standing on the first floor of the school building. Two of the girls from the group were having a small talk.

"I won't stay here Gauri. Whenever I see him my knees start to tremble. And my any eyes lock, I...I start to melt, into a kind of molten state."

"Ri! If you had the guts to have a crush on your senior, that too in school for about 3 years, then you ought to have the guts to say your feelings aloud."

"I am sorry Gauri. I will wait at the entrance of the school. If you are adamant on telling Aditya about my crush, then wait here. When he comes down, tell him everything. If his reply is a no then listen to it yourself. Tell him that there is no need to tell it to me."

"And if his reply is a yes? Shall I ask him to come and talk to you?"

"There is no need to take any trouble. I am sure that his reply is going to be no."

Gauri started to retort, but stopped when the group of girls called out loud, "He is coming down Gauri!" Gauri walked fast towards the foot of the staircase with the other girls and Riya ran away from there.

15 MINUTES LATER

SCHOOL ENTRANCE

Where are the girls, thought Riya. I hope that a big problem has not been created. Maybe I should go inside and check it out. But, wait. What if Aditya is still there. What if they are waiting for me. What if he wants to say a no directly to me. No,no. I won't go inside.

"But, where are they?", saying this Riya spun around to face the school gate. Suddently she froze in her tracks. Aditya was coming towards her. All the previous times, she used to gaze at him without wavering. But today she did not look at him. All she saw was his eyes. Those eyes were doing something striking. They were searching for something. Or someone.

Or maybe me, thought Riya.

Riya, the girl who was not scared of even the most strict teachers, the girl who tried to give courage to her friends, started trembling. Her mouth went dry. The only thing she could think of was to hide somewhere, or maybe run. Her scare rose when she realised that there was no one in the premises. The area where her school was established was silent and devoid of all living things after the last bell at school rang. Finally making up her mind to escape, she started walking away.

Suddenly the most unexpected happened. She felt a warm hand enclose her own and spin her around. She darted her eyes upwards to look at the person who was holding her. In front of her was the person she had dreamed of for the last 3 years. She shut her eyes closed. She couild feel herself giving away, when a voice whispered in her ears, "My reply is yes."

She felt the hand leaving her and suddenly opened her eyes. There was no one in front of her except her friends who were clapping loud, with a wide smile on their face.

Riya felt a blush spreading through her face and whispered, "Adi..

...tya!..."

The nurses rushed towards the figure lying on the hospital bed. Realising that she was having a disturbed they gave her another dose of painkillers.

Outside the ICU, Arjun closed his eyes to let a lone tear fall. He whispered, looking at the unconscious figure on the bed, more like a promise to himself.

"I am here Riya. Your Aditya is here."
