There's a knock on the door.
Naniji: Areh Nanhe bitwa,aap huaan kaahe khade hain? Hiyaan aaiyye..
NK: a.. dadiji,if u dont mind,kya main Anya ko thodi der k liye apne room me le jaa sakta hoon? Its something important..
Naniji: Theek hai,le jaiyye. Khaane ka samay ho oo se pahile aap dono neeche aa jaiyyega.(turns to Lavanya) Theek hai bitiya?
Lavanya: Sure nani! Excuse us..
No sooner did she get off the bed than Lakshmi got off it too.
Nani: Lakshmi,aap kahan chali?
Lakshmi looks at Lavanya and bleats loudly.
Lavanya: Oh no,Mutton,u're not coming with us! (points to the bed)Go back!
Lakshmi instantly obeys her order as she climbs back on the bed.
Nani: Aap log jaiyye,hum ee ko sambhaalte hain.

Arnav(smirks): Kaisa laga surprise?
He tries to hug her
Khushi: Bahut zor se laga! (pushes him away) Kya zaroorat thi yeh sab karne ki? Jaante hain humari haalat kaisi ho gayi thi,yeh soch-soch kar ki aap chale gaye hain?
Arnav: Tumhe kya zaroorat thi roothkar andar jaane ki? Kya tum jaanti ho ki meri haalat kaisi ho gayi thi jab maine tumhe buaji k saath train me chadhte huye dekha tha?
Khushi smiles.
Arnav(annoyed): What?
Khushi: Copycat lard governer!
Arnav(smiles): Silly lady governess!
Khushi: Achchha? Hum silly hain?
Arnav: Tsk.Actually tum silly kam aur crazy zyada ho! Main lavatory se nikla,tumhare peechhe 5 minute tak khada raha,phir andar gaya,par tumne mujhe notice hi nahi kiya?!
Khushi: Sab aapki galti hai!
Arnav: Ab isme meri kya galti hai?
Khushi: Aap hi k baare me soch rahe the naa hum,tab hi toh humne aapko nahi dekha!
Arnav: I see!
Khushi: Aap is hi coach k toilet me the naa?
Arnav: Haa..
Khushi: Aisa kaise ho sakta hai?Humne toh toilet me dekha tha.. us ka darwaza toh aadha khula tha..(shocked) Iska matlab aapne darwaza band kiye bina hi.. (embarassed) hey Devi Maiyya!
She covers her open mouth with her hand.
Arnav: Kaunsa wala check kiya tha tumne?Yahan toh passage k dono taraf lavatories hai.
Khushi: Areh haan!(realizes) Humne doosra wala toh dekha hi nahi! Hum toh.. itne dukhi ho gaye yeh khula darwaza aur us khaali toilet ko dekhkar ki.. doosra wala toilet humare dhyaan me hi nahi aaya!
Arnav shakes his head.
Arnav: Woh wali lavatory disfunctional hai,isiliye uska darwaza khula rakha hai.
Khushi: Aapko kaise pata chala?
Arnav: Main andar gaya tha toh obviously maine darwaze k andar ki side lagaye huye notice ko padha aur mujhe pata chala.
Khushi: Par notice toh unhe darwaze k baahar lagana chahiye naa,andar kyun lagaya?
She holds the door handle.
Khushi: Notice ko andar lagane ka kya matlab hai?
A thought crosses Arnav's mind.
Arnav: Woh sab chhodo aur mujhe ek baat batao. Jab maine tumhe dekha,tab tum is hi pose me khadi thi,dono haathon se tumne kaskar is handle ko pakda hua tha!
Khushi: Haa.. toh?
Arnav(puts an arm around her shoulder): Toh.. Khushi,tum is doorhandle ko pakad kar kyun khadi thi?
Khushi: a.. woh.. bas aise hi!a.. taaki hum.. gir naa jaay.
Arnav: Liar!Liar! (looks suggestively at her pelvis) pants on.. (winks) fire!
Khushi gives her trademark shocked expression.
Khushi: Kya kaha?.. (smacks his arm & chest)besharam lard governer!
Arnav laughs & pulls her to himself for a hug.

Khushi: Sach kahen?
Arnav: Hmm?
Khushi: Hum bahut khush hain ki aap ruk gaye!
Arnav: Main bhi!
Khushi(breaks the hug): Agar aap us station par utar jaate toh..
Arnav(interrupts): Khushi.. ab toh main ruk gaya hoon naa?Aur subha tak tumhare saath hi hoon. So lets not talk about agar main chala gaya hota toh kya hota stuff,okay?
Khushi: Theek hai.
She takes his hand in her hands & places it on her chest,a little towards the left.
Khushi(sighs): Ab theek hai,pehle se kaafi behtar hai!
Arnav(confused): Kya?
Khushi: Humari dhadkan.. Aap jab humein yahaan nahi mile naa,toh yeh dheemi ho gayi thi. Jab TC aaye huye the,tab bahut tez ho gayi thi. (smiles)
Par ab humara dil sahi raftaar se dhadak raha hai!
Arnav frowns.
Khushi: Kya hua?
Arnav: Lagta hai tumhara dil mujhse kuch kehna chahta hai..
Khushi: Sach dr. sahab?
Arnav: Ya,of course! Dekhte hain kya kehta hai..
He bends his head towards her chest.
Khushi(shocked): Kya kar rahe hain aap?
Arnav: Ssshhh! Tum chup rahogi tab hi toh tumhare dil ki baat mujhe sunayi degi!
Khushi: Par..
Arnav runs his index finger from one corner till the other corner of her lips.
Arnav: Zip it!
Khushi nods.
He wraps his arms around her waist as he rests his head on her chest.
Arnav: Tumhara dil sawaal poochh raha hai..
Khushi gestures,as if to say "kya?"
Arnav: Yeh hi ki jab tum Vaishnodevi jaogi,mujhse door,tab tumhari dhadkan ka kya hoga? Tab agar tumhari dhadkan slow ho gayi,toh tum kya karogi?
The smile disappears from Khushi's face.
Arnav straightens up & looks at her,his eyes repeating the question his mouth & her heart asked.
Khushi points to her lips with her finger.
Arnav runs his index finger on her lips in the opposite direction,"unzipping" her mouth.
Khushi: Jab hum aapse door honge,tab humara dil dheemi raftar se dhadkega,maana. Par kabhi-kabhi iski raftaar tez ho jayegi,jaante hain kab?
Arnav: kab?
Khushi: Jab aapka phone ya message aayega,tab!
Arnav gives a small smile.
Khushi: Jab amma,babuji ya buaji aapka ziqar karenge,tab. Jab koi humara poora naam lega,tab. Jab Shantivan se kisi ka phone aayega,tab. Aur jab..
Arnav: Jab?
Khushi(looks away): Jab hum.. nahaayenge tab.
Arnav leans closer to her.
Arnav: Nahaate waqt kyun?
Khushi: Kyun..ki.. tab humein... (blushes) apne.. badan par.. aapke.. diye huye.. nishaan nazar aa.. aayenge!
She hugs him,hiding her face in his chest.
Arnav envelops his arms around her & kisses her head.
Arnav(smiles): Wow! Honestly,maine yeh jawaab expect nahi kiya tha tumse!
Suddenly the door opens,startling both of them.

NK closes the door of his room.
NK(sighs): What a day this has been!
He plops down on the bed beside Lavanya.
Lavanya: Seriously! I'm way too tired!
NK: So am I! If only Nannav ne humein,jaane se pehle,apne car ki keys de di hoti,toh humein taxi se ghar nahi aana padta! Mujhe toh rasta bhi theek se nahi pata tha! Thank God for Aakash!
Lavanya: I know..Waise ASR ne itni suddenly decide kiya ki kuch kehne ya dene k liye time hi nahi tha uske paas!
NK: That's true. Anyways,I'm glad ki woh Khushiji k saath gaya! That way they'll get to spend more time with each other. Nannav,mera bhai, kuch bolta nahi hai,but I know how much he'll miss Khushiji for the next couple of days. Ghar me havan hua,itne saare log aaye,hum log the,aaj poore din me use time hi kahan mila Khushiji k saath privately baat karne k liye?Now that they're together,I'm sure woh kuch na kuch kar k train me Khushiji k saath alag se time spend kar hi lega! I trust my brother to do that!
He looks at Lavanya & finds her looking sadly at him.
NK: What's the matter? Tum itni sad kyun ho gayi?
Lavanya: Main soch rahi thi k.. tum ASR k liye kitna sochte ho.. U're so fond of him! Although woh tumhara cousin nahi hai,tumse uska koi blood relation nahi hai,phir bhi tum hamesha use "mera bhai","mera bhai" kehte rehte ho. But ASR?It pains me to see ki woh tumhe.. theek se treat nahi karta.
NK: No Anya,aisa nahi hai!
Lavanya: Aisa hai,NK! Woh toh tumse theek se baat bhi nahi karta hai. Main jab di aur nani k saath Chamkeeli k room me gayi thi tab maine dekha ki tumne use jo gift diya tha woh waheen pada hua tha. Usne use khola bhi nahi! Tumne dekha hai jab tum use kuch poochhte ho toh woh.. kaise rudely answer karta hai?
NK: Thats bcoz main use tease karta hoon,Nannav kehta hoon & he doesnt like it! Apart from that,he holds no grudges against me. Uski mere se koi push-money nahi hai!
Lavanya: NK!! Push-money nahi dushmani!
NK: Ya,sorry! Whatever..Rahi gift ki baat,use time nahi mila hoga.. Aane k baad woh definitely use kholega,tum dekhna!
Lavanya puts an arm around his waist.
Lavanya: NK,I hope u r not getting me wrong..Main tumhe uske against instigate nahi kar rahi hoon..dont think like that,ok?
NK: I know baby,why would u do that?
He kisses her forehead.
Lavanya: Its just that.. kabhi-kabhi mujhe aisa lagta hai ki.. kitna achchha hota agar ASR tumhe waise hi treat karta jaise woh Aakash ko treat karta hai- utna hi respectfully.. Ya kaash tum dono ki bonding waisi hoti jaisi tumhari aur Akash ki hai!
NK:Anya,meri aur Nannav ki bonding bilkul unique hai,u know? Hatke hai! Aur use waisa hi rehne do jaisi ki woh hai,we both like it that way! Okay?
Lavanya: Ok,as u say!
She snuggles closer to him.

An old woman comes out of the door & stares at Arnav Khushi like they're aliens.
Woman(makes a face): Aaj kal k bachchhon me toh laaj-sharam naam ki koi cheez hi nahi hai!
She slowly walks towards the lavatory,still looking at ArHi through the corner of her eye.
Woman: Jahan mauka mila wahaan shuru ho gaye! Chhee!
She goes to the lavatory & loudly shuts the door.
As soon as she hears the sound made by the door,she pushes Arnav away.
Khushi: Thodi door khade rahiye humse..
Arnav: Kyun?
Khushi(shocked): Abhi unhone ne kya kaha suna na aapne? Phir bhi aap aise hi khade hai?! Woh baahar nikalne k baad humein aise dekhengi toh kya sochengi?
Arnav: Kya farq padta hai ki woh kya sochti hai aur kya nahi? Tum meri biwi ho,dammit! Its not like main kisi aur ki biwi ko hug kar raha hoon!
Khushi: Phir bhi.. achchha nahi lagta hai!
Arnav: Kise achchha nahi lagta,tumhe?(smirks) Jhoot mat bolo!
Khushi: Arnavji! Mazaak chhodiye aur hatiye.. door hatiye!
She pushes him away.
Khushi: Ha,ab aise hi khade rahiye.
Arnav: Fine,lekin sirf tab tak jab toh woh andar wapis nahi chali jaati..
Khushi: Dekhenge..
The woman,while going back to the coach,again stares at ArHi in a demeaning way.
Arnav glares fiercely at her,forcing her to avert her gaze.
Woman(mutters): Ram,Ram! Kya zamaana aa gaya hai! Ek toh galti karte hain aur phir koi toke toh aise ghoorte hain jaise ki hum unke gunehgaar ho!Huh!
After the door closes,Khushi stops Arnav from coming towards her by keeping her hand on his chest,ensuring there's an arm's distance between them.
Khushi: Nahi! Waheen khade rahiye..
Arnav: Ab kyun?
Khushi: Koi aur aa gaya toh?
Arnav holds her hand & pulls her towards himself.
Arnav: Jab aayega tab dekha jayega!
He burries his head in the cranny of her neck & shoulder,locking his arms tightly around her waist.
Khushi gives in,snaking one arm around his shoulder & caressing his hair with the other hand.
Khushi: Ziddi Singh Raizada! Chhodiye humein,humein aapko kuch dikhana hai.
Arnav: Noways! Main jaanta hoon tum jhoot bol rahi ho,Liar Singh Raizada!
Khushi: Nahi,hum sach keh rahe hain!Aap chhodiye toh sahi!
Arnav leaves her after a minute or so.
Khushi opens the main door of the coach.
They're greeted by a cool breeze and sprinkle of icy cold water (raindrops).
Khushi: Ghar par nahi,naa sahi,yahaan toh mauka mil hi gaya,aapke saath baarish ka maza lene ka!
She extends her hand outside,closes her fist and then turns to Arnav with a naughty smile on her face.
Khushi: Yeh aapke liye!
She throws whatever little amount of water her hands had caught on him.
Arnav: Khushi,aise haath baahar mat nikalo,its not safe.
Khushi: Kyun nahi? Saath waale track par toh koi train nahi hai,toh kis baat ka khatra! Aap fiqar karna chhodiye aur baarish ka mazaa lijiye!
She extends both her hands outside,enjoying the feel of the chilly raindrops on her arms.
Arnav stands behind her,resting his head on her shoulder.
Then he also extends his hands outside.
Khushi: Kaisa lag raha hai?Maza aa raha hai naa?
Arnav: Yup! (in a husky tone) Bahut maza aa raha hai!
He kisses the spot just below her ear.
Khushi: Arr..nav..ji!
He does the same thing which khushi did to him,except for the fact that he throws water on her neck with one hand.
Khushi turns towards him.
Khushi: Kya kar rahe hain? Humara dupatta aur kurta geela ho gaya!
Arnav: Sorry!
He throws water on her face with the other hand.
Khushi(irritated): Arnavji!
While she wipes the droplets rolling down her cheek,Arnav wipes the ones sitting on her lips with his thumb.
Khushi's cheeks turn crimson & she closes her eyes.
Arnav cups her face,all ready to kiss her.
Khushi suddenly opens her eyes.
Khushi: Nahi! Yahaan nahi! Koi bhi kabhi bhi andar se yahaan aa sakta hai!
Arnav: Fine! Toh wahaan chalo!
Khushi(clueless): Kahaan?
He holds her hand & drags her away.

1 Question for the readers(both those who comment & those who like): R u finding the pace of this FF slow? One reader PM ed me to say that she finds the pace of this story too slow. I know u all cant wait for ArHi to head to Paris,but that has a long time to go. In any case,if any of u feel like the pace is slow,do mention it in ur comment. I appreciate honest answers. If majority readers say the pace is slow,I'll do something to improve it.Looking forward for ur answers.

Khushi: I was lost in ur thoughts,hence I didnt notice u!

Khushi: U were in which toilet?In this coach's toilet?
Arnav: Ya..
Khushi: How's it possible?I'd checked the toilet,its door was half open. That means u were... hey Devi Maiyya!

Arnav: I went inside so obviously I read the notice on the other side of the door & came to know of it.
Khushi: But they should've stuck the notice to the outer part of the door. Why did the stick it inside?

man that was as usual fantastic
i know it may seem it slow paced but it aint
because there needs to be more story before the go to paris or more romance before parisafter all thats the main thing
but if others say its bit slow and you do decide to fasten the pace i wouldnt mind
what ever you think is right is okay with me personally
man what is with ppl and disturbing their romance naa
and nk and la convo was sure interesting
lets see where he is taking her
