This piece is dedicated to the Romantic heart of JPrasad which I am glimpsing occassionally behind all those Nitrous Oxide. Here goes Poem No 2.
Back ground:-
The month of May is the blooming time of Gulmohars all over India. All country and City roads will be flowered and layered by Gulmohar petals which is an extremely beautiful sight. There are exacltly 131 Gulmohars on the tiny strip of road between my home and my office. Today morning when I was going to office, the entire road was layered by Gulmohar petals. I couldn't go on... I stopped there for atleast ten minutes before continuing my journey.
In those ten munutes, so many thoughts came to my mind. I thanked God for blessing me with my life, Allowing me to experience the most beautiful love of my life, For giving me so many wonderful friends....the list goes on...........
Each single petal reminded me of Arman, Jassi and their heart felt love. I thought of the days when I waited beneath one Gulmohar with impatient eyes searching all over my beloved....... The happiness, the tears... the cheers... everything....
And the result is here, Please read and enjoy.
A SONG OF LOVE
Through the red carpet layered by petals of Gulmohar,
On this path of eternal beauty,
Let's walk hand in hand my dear,
Go together………………..
Towards unknown shores……
Towards love……….
Let's feel the caressing breeze,
Which brings the fragrance of roses……..
Let's feel the morning glory...
Which reflects in our eyes…
Let's sing the song of love,
Rhythmed by our heartbeats
Let's touch the sunrays
With our outstretched hands…..
Let's walk hand in hand my dear,
Go together………………..
Towards unknown shores……
Towards love……….
You are the lotus
Which blooms in my life,
You are the sun, who
Rises in the horizon of my heart,
You are the shining moon
Who showers love in my nights
You are the most cherished
Desire of my heart.
Dearest,
Let's walk hand in hand,
Go together………………..
Towards unknown shores……
Towards love……….
Through the red carpet layered by petals of Gulmohar,
On this path of eternal beauty.
