Ans is Memories and Pensieve

if you want to peruse..you need to lose me...
to check memories  you need to take those out of your head..
he who holds me is special...of course...
well it has to be something which can hold it!!
we fit like lock and key...
well memoreis and its receptcle are emant for each other..
made for each other he and she
he is the vessel which holds memories..and she is teh memories..as memories are feminine poetically..
the one who has him
the one who has the vessel/pensieve
can lose her to him...
can take out the thoughts from head..otherwise it would be wasted..
he is of many shapes...
like the PENSIEVE dumbly used..and also the Flask used by harry in book 7
and she is of many hues...
memories can be sad happy inquistive fearful
without him she is of no use
well its self expalnatory
without her he is sour grapes
what will you do with empty pensieve??LOL

tell us... tell us who we are??

Nice one laks. That was quite out off the box! *claps* brilliant!
however, forgive me but i think this particular line "Without him she is of no use" doesnt quite fit in. Memories and pensieve form a pair- agreed. But memory is not dependant on pensieve(unlike vice versa) as not everyone wants to peruse them. :) In order words, the sole purpose of a pensieve is to peruse memories. It is meant for that activity. But memories need not necessarily be perused and hence it wont render them useless in contrary to want the line says. :) no hard feelings laks but having studied a bit of a law, i somehow didnt find the phraseology appropriate. :) but besides this, i really loved this particular riddle of yours :)

first thing ani...you no need to be formal with me kid..samjhe?? ya samjhaaon??Angry
secondly...thanks for liking it dearHug
third!! the actual muddha..
well as i said in one of my posts...i wanted to weave a story...as there was personification..and a man and woman was involved..i wanted to bring this..this..romance in to the poetry...wanted to play with words..top of that i had to set the mood up for the last line of riddle..you know...just like a bridge which connects 2 harmonies while piano is played...i had to anchor and tie up the whole riddle in a single strand..Embarrassed
i know i sucked in thatLOL
i will keep in mind next time to go easy on myselfLOL
thanks for pointing out buddyHug
